- Culloden Viaduct - Following a half-hour visit to Clava Cairns, the tour will proceed to the renowned Culloden or Nairn Viaduct, designed by Murdoch Paterson and inaugurated as a railway crossing in 1898. It is a remarkable sight, offering excellent photo opportunities.
- Cawdor Castle - Cawdor Castle, a residence mentioned in Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” in reference to the Thane of Cawdor and the prophecy, features stunning gardens and guided audio tours available in various languages.
- Inverness - Guests will be dropped off in the city for shopping or exploring the historical churches and streets, with this stop lasting between 30 to 90 minutes.
- Beauly Priory - Departing from Urquhart Castle around 2-2:30 pm, the tour will take a scenic route to Beauly, passing by the historic priory, now a ruin, built in 1230 by a lesser-known French monastic order. It is also the fictional meeting place of Claire and Mairi from “Outlander” and the actual burial site for the chiefs of Clan Fraser, to which the fictional Jamie Fraser is connected. If time permits, there will be a stop.
- Inverness Castle - Continuing through Inverness, the tour will pass the historic town hall and Inverness Castle, with opportunities for photos of the castle and Inverness Cathedral. Visitors can explore the castle’s viewing gallery, shops, cafes, or historic bars. Note that only photos are allowed until 2024 due to renovations.
- Loch Ness - Crossing the River Ness to Loch Ness, guests should be ready to spot the legendary Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster. Enjoy a comfortable 30-minute ride along Loch Ness, hoping for a glimpse of Nessie. Although the last famous sighting was decades ago, recent online footage suggests a creature resembling Nessie has been seen. The scenery is breathtaking, so have cameras ready. The tour will stop at the Loch Ness lay-by for photos, but paddling is not possible due to the steep hillside. The drive along Loch Ness lasts 30 minutes, with attempts to stop for photos.
- Robertson’s Farm Shop Beauly - Visit a local farm shop and meet the two Highland cows, Jamie and Katie-Morag.
