It was easy to follow at... - It was easy to follow at your own pace. We split the tour up and it did not feel rude to walk away. I wish this was available in more areas.

Inverness at your own pace - The tour goes at your own pace - even tells you when you go off course. This route is simple, but part of the course was closed. We could still listen to the commentary, and picked it up at the next point. An interesting tour.

Perfect way to see the city - Great information. We loved going at our own pace- stopping at pubs along the way. Perfect way to see the city.

Great self guided tour - Great self guided tour. Very informative, takes you around town and along the river for a nice walk with great scenery. Made some stops as suggested along the way, so it took us a little under 3 hours. App is intense on phone, glad I charger pack with me.

Fun - Excellent tour. Very informative. Nice length. Unfortunately the app charged me twice (once it said the card had failed when it hadn't so I tried another card).

Flexible and interesting - This was absolutely perfect for someone like me who enjoys a walking tour but doesn't like the structure of being with a group of strangers. The app was easy to use and the narration was interesting. I split my "tour" into two days just based on some logistics, and it was easy to do that by simply starting the tour in the app and then selecting the location nearest me rather than the official start point. I will definitely try similar tours from this narrator and app in the future. Note: when I went (June 2023) Inverness Castle was under construction so I suggest walking around it to the next spot on the tour, otherwise you'll walk up a hill only to have to turn back around.

Explore central Inverness at your own pace - Liked being able to follow the tour at our own pace. Information shared was interesting and informative. Only negative is that the Inverness castle is closed until 2025 but the audio hasn’t been updated. We worked around it but since the castle has been closed since 2021 it could have been updated.

Useful introduction to Inverness - Very diversified information provided, very useful to be introduced to Inverness. One single regret: while the castle is still under restoration hence not accessible, the audioguide was not updated accordingly.

Audio Tour of Inverness - The audio tour is found on Getyourguide and was very good. We were able to split it up over a couple of days. There is lots of walking, but it's mostly level and somewhat shaded. Beautiful scenery along the Ness. We were a group of 4, so we just bought the one package and shared to instead of separate headphones. There was construction at the cathedral downtown and that messed up the directions a bit but we eventually found our way. This was better than some other tours because we could go at our pace and stop along the way for shopping or eating, etc.

Good if you need flexibility - The good thing about a self-guided tour is that you can do it whenever you like, so you can avoid rain or crowds. The tour itself was OK but lacked the enthusiasm of a tour guide.
