Great way to experience the waterways of Inverness - It was very nice to experience Inverness by bike. At the community gardens we had a short, but lovely break. Our local Inverness guide did an amazing job. We would highly recommend this trip. Lovely views, sights and you really get a great overview of what Inverness has to offer. Bring a raincoat.

Easy ride in and out of Inverness that you would normally know about. - Great guide Alison gave us a varied contour of ride on well maintained bikes. We were on a fixed time scale in order to catch a bus to our next location. She was very mindful of it and we didn’t miss a thing and caught our bus with time to spare.

Highly recommended! - The bike tour was wonderful! Alison showed us many points of historical interest. This included local landmarks, growth of the city and flora/fauna. The ride was comfortable and fun even for those who had not biked in awhile!

Plenty of sites for a little pedaling - What a great way to spend an afternoon. A little exercise with a lot of sites to see. Our guide was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I’m glad we did this. The complimentary 10% discount card to Prime as a parting gift was nice too. We went to Prime. That was a nice pick too. Very reasonable cost for a really nice dinner.

A highlight of our monthlong Scotland trip - While this review might be slightly skewed by the gloriously beautiful fall weather we lucked into, we'd still recommend Allison's tours in a heartbeat. She's personable, incredibly knowledgeable about all things Inverness, and has a delightfully nonpretentious way of explaining the local lore at the various stopping points. She's also plotted a route that's easy for casual cyclists on cruiser bikes; you wend along the River Ness, through and across Ness Islands and then take a short break at the botanical gardens. Next is the Caledonian Canal, a nature reserve and both Beauly and Moray Firths, before retuning to the start along the River Ness.

You will LOVE this experience - The bikes and helmets provided were in good order and expertly fitted by Allison. The ride is 95% on bike paths and quite flat. We visited the Ness Islands and their wonderful woods, the botanical gardens, and learned about the Caledonian Canal. The tour is great and Allison is incredibly knowledgeable!

A fun way to experience more of Inverness! - Even with wind and drizzle, this was a fun way to discover and experience more of the waterways of Inverness, plus a beautiful tree-filled little island, the botanical gardens and a nature preserve. Our guide Allison was excellent, very safety-focused and informative, and made sure that the bikes were fitted to each rider. The bikes have easy gears and were very comfortable. Very glad we did this bike trip! Highly recommend!
