Excellent tour for seeing the countryside of Skye - Amazing day! Graham was an excellent driver and tour guide!! It was a small tour group size of 5 (pre-tourist season) which was great, and he allowed for a couple extra stops requested by the group members which made am already good tour, a great tour by being flexible and allowing for the personalization! We got to see some of the beautiful country side of Skye as outlined in the description, which would have been impossible to see without a car to get around. As a solo female traveler this tour is an excellent option I would recommend to anyone who has a day with nothing planned while visiting Inverness. Inverness itself only takes the better portion of a day to see, so I would highly recommend venturing off to see Skye - its my absolute favorite of what I've seen of Scotland!

Get the most out of Isle of Skye in 1 day! - A great day at the isle of Skye! If you want to see as much of the isle as possible in one day then this tour is the best option for you. There were only 2 of us on the tour so we got a great private experience with our guide Lawrence - he was super patient and flexible with the schedule so we had ample time at each stop. He also made sure we were hydrated and energised with snacks through the day and told interesting stories about the history of the different areas.
We had to make adjustments for the itinerary as the road to the Fairy pools was unfortunately closed so we decided to hike to the Old man of Storr instead. We didn’t mind this at all as the alternative hike turned out to be the highlight of the day!
Many thanks again for an amazing day!

The highlight of my trip to Scotland -- a PERFECT day on the Isle of Skye! - I highly recommend this tour and wish I could give the team at Skye Fairy Tours and Lawrence more than five stars!
I have done many group tours all over the world, and this one stands out as a genuine five-star experience. I cannot even type out all of the things that I loved about this tour, but a few of the things that stood out are:
1. Tour guide: Lawrence is so kind and he has incredibly extensive knowledge of Scotland and its history as he has been leading tours here for years. I learned so much about the highlands and Scottish history from him and he was so patient in answering all of my questions along the way.
2. Unique Itinerary: I chose this tour because it is the only tour from Inverness that lets you see this much of Skye in one day (Fairy Pools, Fairy Glen, and the Trotternish Peninsula). Though we saw so much, I never once felt rushed and I had plenty of time to enjoy each stop. I also like that they keep the group size smaller than the other tours we saw along the way in large buses.
3. Thoughtful Planning: We were able to smoothly visit way more locations in one day than other group tours that I saw online because they skillfully planned the tour's itinerary to avoid peak crowd times at popular sites like the Fairy Pools and the Fairy Glen, which was fantastic! I also appreciate that bio breaks were planned in very regularly throughout the day.
4. Safety and Comfort: The van was very comfortable and Lawrence navigated the challenging and narrow roads very safely and skillfully. I felt very safe taking the tour as a solo female traveler and Lawrence thoughtfully offered to drop me at my hotel on the way into town so that I wouldn't have to walk there in the dark alone. He also had snacks and water bottles which were great after the hike to the Fairy Pools!
I will absolutely be coming back to Scotland and taking another tour with Skye Fairy Tours and Lawrence. I really cannot recommend this tour enough-- it was truly the highlight of my trip to Scotland!
