Amazing journey - The trip was great. The places taken and covered, halts where we were allowed to get down and roam about to absorb the beauty of the place were well selected by the operator. A special thanks to our guide 'Alex' - who was attentive to the places where one would enjoy some time outside the tour bus and places that could be worth visiting in detail.
I felt my trip was complete as i saw all those places in good time, which I would not have covered otherwise. And the group was lively and did not make me feel like I was on a Solo trip. Would recommend it. Cheers!!

Wow! We’d do it again in a heartbeat! - This was a truly fantastic tour (on October 6, 2024). Our tour guide – Jack – was exceptional. He was dressed in traditional kilt attire, told great stories with some humor mixed in, and was very personable and friendly. It was a rainy/misty day, but we didn’t miss any attractions; he was a very safe driver (many of the roads were winding with lot of hills), and the tour was on-time from beginning to end. Dunrobin Castle and Gardens were breathtaking and were a true highlight of our entire trip to the UK. Jack also included some personal touches to the experience, such as showing his sgian-dubh, a small single-edged knife that is traditionally worn with a Scottish kilt that he had made for him. He also included an unplanned stop at a family run concession along the coast that served lobster and crab rolls. You’d be truly fortunate to have Jack as your guide!

Great stopping points. No stress - We booked this tour to see the far north. Timberbush did not disappoint. Michael was our guide. We had ample stops to stretch. We learned a ton of history. We made new friends and felt extremely safe along the way.

Nice day trip! - I was really happy with this trip overall. The day gets a little long, but visiting Dunrobin Castle and the falconry experience was great… if you also want to see what it feels like to stand at the edge of the world (sort of), John O’Groats is fantastic!

Excellant journey but missed some spots - We took the "John O' Groats, Dunrobin Castle & the Far North from Inverness" day tour on October 27th, but unfortunately, the schedule seemed to have been not followed, and several locations were skipped.
According to the itinerary, there was a planned stop at Golspie Gallery (15 minutes) and then an hour at Dunrobin Castle. However, Golspie Gallery was omitted, and we arrived at Dunrobin Castle early, only to wait until it opened, which led to lost time. Additionally, Dornoch was added unexpectedly, where most of the shops there were closed and nothing to do.
Wick’s Heritage Museum/Town (1 hour, including lunch) was entirely bypassed, and we didn’t have the opportunity to explore the town either. Instead, we spent 1.5 hours at John O' Groats with lunch, where there were limited food options, and the time allotted seemed excessive given that the plan originally indicated a 1-hour stop.
Lastly, we did not visit Dunbeath Heritage Museum as scheduled but went to Duncansby Lighthouse, which was not on the itinerary.
Given these deviations, we feel that the tour did not meet the expectations set by the original schedule. If possible, we kindly request appropriate refund for the inconvenience and missed experiences. We hope you will consider our feedback to help improve future tours.
