- Robertson’s Farm Shop Beauly - SUPER PLACE TO SEE THE FAMOUS HAIRY COO,S and visit the farm shop then on to Beauly priory 5 min drive - Beauly Priory - These extensive ruins were once home to a Valliscaulian monastic community and are regarded as one of Inverness Shire’s top tourist spots. Listed as a scheduled monument, the wooded riverside location really does give the Priory a special feel. While only the Abbey Church remains standing, it contains some impressive funerary monuments. From Beauly Priory it’s tours picks up again, this time over to loch ness to meet the monster. 30 min drive to next stop - Great Glen Distillery - A true product of its place of birth, Great Glen balances the sweet herbal honeysuckle notes of Scottish heather with the subtle tartness of Red Sorrel and the aromatic pine tones of Frankincense. The Anglican Cathedral is the most northerly in the UK, and is an excellent example of local architecture and the Gothic style. Take some time to admire the beautiful glass windows and intricately carved stonework. 30 min drive to next stop, THEN ON TO CLAVA CAIRNS - Clava Cairns - Clava Cairns This deeply sacred place within the landscape of the Highlands is steeped in history, with the first usage of the site thought to date back over 4000 years. Set within a beautiful forested area, there is evidence that ancient peoples returned here again and again; there are even the ruins of a medieval chapel here. The Clava Cairns serves as the inspiration for the fictitious Craigh na Dun standing stones in the book and TV series Outlander, in fact, the famous “cleft stone” that transports the main character Claire back in time can be found here. Clava Cairns is a well-preserved Bronze Age cemetery near Inverness in the Scottish Highlands. For many years, it played second fiddle to its more famous neighbour, Culloden Battlefield. That all changed in 2014, with the release of the TV dramatization of Diana Gabaldon’s popular Outlander novel. 5min drive to next stop, AND THEN ON TO THE BATTLEFIELD - Culloden Battlefield - Culloden Battlefield Culloden famously played host to the bloody Battle of Culloden, the outcome of which had ramifications far outside the local area and is intensively documented at the visitor centre. Extraordinarily Excellent Tour. MUST HAVE when ship at Invergordon. - It was a surprise when we saw our guide Stewart as well as his boss waiting for us, more surprise when we found out that there were only 4 of us in a very nice van, a private tour. We decided to skip the whiskey stop and added the Urquhart Castle stop, which suited us perfectly. Stewart made us very comfortable and explained all of our questions. Strongly recommended tour.

Beautiful Scotland - We were a group of 8 and had a private tour. When we arrived they had to split us between two guides. Our guides were Louis and Tony. The group could not praise them enough and thought they went above and beyond to make our tour memorable. Great tour, beautiful scenary! You will not regret it. We even fit in a couple of extra stops. Cawdor Castle is fantastic, the gin distillery shows the smallest distiller I have ever seen with free tastings. Clava Cairns is a must for Outlander fans. Great day!

Best tour so far in Scotland - What a wonderful day today we had, Roy are tour guide, guided us through What a wonderful day today we had, Roy are tour guide, guided us through the picturesque countryside of Scotland. From Invergordon to Inverness And around the countryside to see amazing sites, including some of the outlander sites. We had the most perfect weather that while we were at Loch Ness there were Multiple people mostly girls in skimpy bathing suits. Roy said no I’ve never seen that here. That’s how warm it was today. Our tour guide Roy was very knowledgeable and took us to a number of sites off the beaten path which we really appreciated. Highly recommended.
