Walk through Punta Cana paradise - I took a deep breath and the air was full of aromas of fresh earth and ripe fruit. In the distance I heard the roosters crowing and the laughter of children playing near crops. I stopped several times, simply to take in the landscape and feel the calm that surrounded me. That day I understood that Punta Cana is much more than sand and sea.Its fields are a living treasure, full of nature, history and a hospitality that embraces you from the first moment.

Among palm trees and sown fields: the most authentic side of Punta Cana - When I thought of Punta Cana, the first thing that came to mind were its beaches. But that image changed completely the day I toured their fields. As I made my way along the country roads, I found myself surrounded by extensive sows and palm trees that rocked gently in the wind.

Beautiful life - Daddy, the city tour POR Higüey was brutal. We go out early and EN route, you know, POR the road, they start to appear those little stalls full DE fresh fruits and vegetables, DE those that call you from afar with colors. And look, EN one DE those the driver surprised us — without warning or anything — and stopped DE moment. The man got off and brought us some mangoes that smelled like they fed, and cane, DE that peels and one chews to take out the sweet juice, like the one they use to make sugar. We all started eating and laughing EN route, peeling cane and squirting DE mango juice, it was a hesitation! That DETAIL really gave the tour a special touch, because it was NO just seeing the city, it was savoring a bit DE local life.

My Experience on the Punta Cana – Higüey City Tour - Taking a day off the beaten path at the beach was one of the best decisions of my trip. The Higüey City Tour was a very relaxing and intuitive experience, with no rush or tight schedules, just letting myself be carried away by the local atmosphere. We visited the famous Basilica of Higüey, a place steeped in history and spirituality. I was impressed by its architecture and the devotion of the people. Afterward, we walked through the local market, where I felt the true energy of the city: colors, aromas, laughter, and a human warmth that isn't found everywhere.

An authentic experience I won’t forget - I did the city tour to Higüey from Punta Cana and honestly, it was a beautiful experience. The driver was super polite and professional at all times. I was impressed by how well he knew the area — we kept asking questions about the places we passed through and he always had a clear answer. You could tell he really knows the region and enjoys sharing his knowledge. What I loved most about the tour was getting a close look at how people live in some of the Dominican Republic’s small towns and rural areas. It felt like a very special way to connect with the local culture, beyond the typical beach tourism. If you enjoy discovering the real life of the places you visit, you’ll love this tour. I truly enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

a historical walk - This tour far exceeded my expectations. In addition to getting to know Higuey, its people, its culture, and more, the basilica, a historic monument of the city, we also visited Friusa and Macao Beach. The guide was phenomenal at all times.

Authentic and cultural: a must-do in Higüey - The Higüey City Tour was an authentic and enriching experience. We visited the Basilica of Our Lady of Altagracia, the local market, and the historic streets while learning about Dominican culture and traditions. The guide was excellent, the transportation was comfortable, and the small group made the tour feel very personal. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience the true heart of the Dominican Republic.

Wonderful cultural activity - I loved it and recommend it to all people who want to do something different, the guide was quite experienced and very knowledgeable of the area we visited including sugar cane plantings, fields, communal markets, churches etc. a wonderful activity.
