Amazing morning on the Runners Adventures zip-line course! - I booked the 12-line zip-line excursion through World2Meet at my hotel and went today (25/09) in the morning as a solo traveller.
I was picked up on-time at my hotel before driving to a few other hotels to collect more people, which afterwards we started the drive to the Anamuya Mountain range. Our bus had Nelson as the driver - I felt very safe throughout both the transfer there and back and we had Eddie as our tour guide, Eddie was amazing throughout and a massive asset to the Runners Adventure team - after introducing himself as our ‘family’ for the day, throughout the drive there, he gave us little insights to local life in the communities we drove through and educated us in an entertaining and informative way on life in the DR (I drove through the same communities to attend a different excursion with a different company just two days before and didn’t get any sort of explanation so it was great to be able to see and hear about local areas as we passed them). Eddie also informed us of the safety waiver required by the company. Eddie spoke in both English and Spanish throughout to ensure everyone could understand. I cannot speak highly enough of both Eddie and Nelson who both added value to the trip.
Once we arrived to the zip-lines we were given a bottle of ice-cold water and then there was a short wait whilst other people arrived but we were quickly fitted with the safety equipment which all seemed to be in very good condition and well maintained before being given a really good briefing about the lines and then a safety demonstration where the few instructions were made very clear and any questions were answered.
The zip-lines themselves were really fun, starting off easier (shorter and not as high) and working their way up to the longest and highest. Once everyone had completed the first zip-line and was more staggered there was very little waiting between lines so completing all 12 took approximately 1 hour. There was the opportunity to stop and go back to the starting point every other line for people who did not want to continue. There were photos taken at three of the lines throughout the course which they mention beforehand. Some lines did not require you to manually break and so you could go quite fast. The views over the course were incredible, with two of the longer lines crossing a river and some positioned so it felt like you were flying through the trees. Towards the end, there was a double zip-line where you could race against someone else. There was a few ‘hiking’ sections between some of the lines - nothing strenuous or far, and there was a water machine about half way around the course. The instructors and guides around the course were also really great, they were friendly and helpful and all provided a great service.
At the end, there is the opportunity to purchase the photos (one printed for $10, or all of the digital photos - unsure on price but noted it was dependent on how many people in the party you wanted the pictures of) and visit the shop (bottle of Coke Zero was $2 - unsure of other drink/food/souvenir prices) whilst you wait for everyone to finish and make their way back. After we finished, we did have to wait a while ~40mins for people doing other activities in the area like Monkey Land to finish to get the same transfer back which added some time to the day but this did not necessarily bother me.
We were then guided back to the busses/open-sided trucks and given another bottle of ice-cold water for the journey back.
I had an amazing morning doing the zip-lines and would highly recommend Runners Adventures to anyone visiting the Punta Cana area looking for a morning doing something different.

AMAZING ZIPLINE EXPERIENCE! - One of the best zip line tours we have been on! The longest line is 800 meters long!! The guides were all very friendly, helpful, and made us feel very safe. The equipment and facility are very well maintained. Nothing felt substandard at all. The bus ride from the beach resorts is 45 minutes to an hour but our guide filled the time by telling us all about the country and its culture and people. I highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed!

10/10!!! - From beginning to end, the whole experience was amazing! Our transportation was on time, the guide “Sammy Carwash” was not only informative but hilarious at the same time! The young man explaining the safety procedures was very clear and precise (also funny)! The harness equipment was in excellent condition and the guides made sure to secure it properly on everyone! The zip lining was exhilarating! 10/10!

Great tour and great crew - We had a great time. The trip from the Hard Rock was very long, but we had a guide on the bus with us that provided a guided tour of the areas we were passing along the way.
The crew at the zip line stations was very nice. They had no issues with me taking photos and videos. They also took photos and sold them for a reasonably low price of $40 for all the ditial photos.
They have a nice gift shops with refreshments for sale.
Felt we spent way too much time watching the coffee demonstration which is really a sales pitch to buy their products (which is why I docked it a star), but aside from that, it was a great tour.
I would recommend this tour company and the nice team they have working there.

Horrible transportation - The zip lining itself was 5 stars it was so much fun and the workers were great. I will never book with adventure runners ever again. The transportation was God awful. They had us up early in the morning for pick up just to take us to a parking lot for an hour to coordinate excursions and what color bands need to be in what van. There was zero scheduling for lunch time. We were picked up around 7am got back to our resorts at 2 with no option to buy lunch. But our driver was able to get a to go plate delivered to the van. On our way back to our resorts we sat in the road for 40 minutes to again coordinate who needs to be in what van. The amazing excursion was about an hour and a half but the transportation took about 5 hours. The distance from the resort to the excursion was about 30 minutes, The time in between was the disorganization of the company transportation.
