Amazing experience with Teo!!! - Teo was amazing!!!! Excellent tour guide that is so knowledge and very fun to be around. He showed us amazing places like the cacao plantation, the Dominican family’s house, & of course playa Macao! I highly recommend this tour it is so much fun and you get to see a lot of places in one excursion. I can’t wait to come back to RD!!!

Excellent day trip! - Tao was a delight. He was able to keep a diverse group informed and entertained . The trip itself was helpful in getting a glimpse of life in this area of the DR. Would echo others that it is more of a 6-8 hour trip, particularly if you are in a Punta Cana resort (ex Westin) which will likely be a first pickup and last drop off, so bring your charger ;) but lovely time and very much worth it. It may not be always the case, but we were by far the smallest of the tour groups doing the same circuit as we were on, which was nice to move a bit more quickly.

Great Value for Money - Great trip with Tao and excellent value for money. Picked up at 7:30 and dropped off at 15:00. Managed to fit in some horse riding, visits to a local market and higuey church all before lunch which was in a nice buffet style restaurant overlooking a lovely river with small waterfalls. After lunch it was visits to a traditional Dominican Republic house, cocoa demonstration, cigar factory all finished off with a trip to Macau beach. Great day out with a very charismatic guide. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Great guide and great experience - This half-day trip exceeded my expectations! You get to do and see quite a bit in a fairly short amount of time. The lunch stop was my favorite meal of the trip. I was between doing this and going to Santo Domingo, and I think this was the right choice. You get to see several towns and the city but without driving over 2 hours from Punta Cana. (note: there is a lot of stopping/going and winding, hilly roads, so I definitely recommend motion sickness medication if you're like me and get easily queasy.) Our guide, Teo, was especially excellent. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, funny, and accommodating. He did a few small but very thoughtful things that I appreciated, such as buying a fresh avocado from a roadside stand and sharing it with us at lunch. It was literally the best avocado I've ever eaten (I live much further north, so they're never as good and this was a treat!). He was also prompt and kept us moving on time without us feeling rushed. I really cannot say enough nice things about our guide and this experience.

EXCELLENT WALK!! - The guides sandi and judith spectacular, the excursion is as detailed, no surprises! You walk the reality of the island, very hospitable and friendly people! Places to buy souvenirs, set up cigarettes and visit where they make spectacular coffee, be friendly and leave tip as a token of appreciation!! Bilingual guides , beautiful views and very well put together the tour! Love coming to the island! Greetings from Argentina!!
