Beautiful hiking made easy! - Tour Guide was Manos, driver was Lukas. They arrived at the pick-up point shortly after the meeting time (traffic), and Manos gave a lot of history of the area and the important details of the hike (length, altitude, water/food needs, checkpoints w/suggested times, etc). The hike is not terribly difficult, and will take between 4-6 hours. Only 500-600 people did the hike the day I did, so it didn’t feel crowded, and I wasn’t slowed down by anyone on the trail. The meeting point at the end was very clear, and easy to find Manos, get the boat ticket, and meet up with Lukas to get back on the bus. A small lunch was provided (juice, large croissant, bottle of water). The one bottle of water is enough because there are 4+ points to fill your bottle w/ spring water. I would recommend bringing a few snack bars too. The beach at the end is large, black pebbles, so it is very hot, and there is very little shade, so be prepared. It was not crowded. The bus ride is long both ways, but the bus is comfortable and Lukas did a great job of driving through traffic. I would recommend going with several denominations in Euros: for gratuity for the great team, and for the tickets for the gorge and the boat ride back to the bus (this cost €16 total as of 6/2022, and Manos purchased all the tickets). I would highly recommend this trip!!
