Hikkaduwa - Begin your journey at 0600 hrs from your hotel in Hikkaduwa. A designated chauffeur guide from Lakpura Travels will meet you. After completing the formalities at the hotel, you will be escorted to your air-conditioned vehicle and head to Nuwara Eliya.

In 1824, the British brought a tea plant to Ceylon from China and planted it in the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya for non-commercial purposes. James Taylor, a British citizen, introduced commercial tea plantation in Sri Lanka (Ceylon). He arrived in Sri Lanka in 1852 and settled in the Loolecondera estate in Kandy. Today, even those who have never heard of Sri Lanka are familiar with Ceylon tea, known for its quality.

Nuwara Eliya - Then, proceed to Nuwara Eliya town and check into the hotel.
