Absolutely Wonderful day on the Island and definitely stay next time. - Been to Australia 3 times and always meant to go to the island. Boat was on time and apart from I get sea sick all was good. After settling down once arrived we got a map and made a plan. Went to the bus pick up stop and impressed to see the guy cleaning the bus for us to get on. Boiling day so air conditioned bus much appreciated. Half way round the island our bus broke down! The guy was brilliant, he said if you want you can walk a little way to a gorgeous beach, have a swim and I will give come and give you a call when get going or another bus. The sea was inviting and beach empty, just perfect. As promised the guy came and gave us a shout that getting going again, we decided to stay where we were. He told us where to walk to the next bus pick up and it had shade to wait under just wonderful. Later in the early evening we took the bus trip again and learnt so much from this same guy by chance, he was a credit to the company don't loose him. Loved the island and hope one day back in Australia to visit again. Very late in reviewing this trip but better late than never. Really wish we could remember drivers name.

Quokers - Great trip, well organized, great guide. A bit confusing as to we’re to find the departure point at first and at lunch facility to wipe down tables or table cloths would have been good.

A day to remember on Rottnest Island. - Mini bus pickup from City to Hillary’s harbour. Excellent diesel train trip to Oliver Hill gun emplacements with full tour of the amazing wartime facility. Lunch supplied then bus trip around the island with full commentary on all the sights and history. Saw a rare Osprey with nest, dugite snakes sunning themselves, friendly lizards, whales and of course the little quokkas. These were common around the commercial area near the harbour!

Enjoyable Rottnest - A well organised and informative trip. The tour took us all over the beautiful island and made good use of the time. Glad we were on the tour as the weather was very windy which would of made cycling difficult

In appreciation of a great afternoon. - 90 minute discovery Tour of Rottnest Island on September 11. Tour Guide Sophie/ Sonia was outstanding. Presentation methods and subject knowledge were excellent. Seen by the bus load of tourists as personable and generous.

Well arranged tour. - Well organised tour. Very comprehensive. The only negative was not visiting the lighthouse. I would have liked to seen it up close and possibly climbed it. We could only look from afar due to time constraints. I would suggest this is included in the future as we visited 437 different bays which all see the same after awhile.

Great trip but check out start point - Check out a better way to start your journey than courtesy coach. Re confirmed 48 hrs B4 is a pain. Very long bus journey. Pick up in street nearby not at our hotel.Dont use Hillary's boat yard if like us you are 15 mins from Perth ferry terminals. Rest of trip was well worth it. Views. History. Guide. Quokkas. Even bumpy ferry ride. Loading those bikes was an art form. Signage on island is not plentiful so don't lose the map.

Great way to spend the day. - That was a really good day trip. We got to see all of Rottnest Island. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The ferry ride over was a little bumpy but made it there.

Correct Information would Help - The tour offered was on an air conditioned coach. After alighting the ferry there were no directions on getting to a designated railway which, when found, was over 400 meters from the ferry. I am on crutches and struggled in the excessive heat to make the train departure. On arrival at the train a lady tour guide who had pulled up in a golf cart with a sign on top showing it was for disabled travelers explained to me that had she known I could have gotten a lift from her, all I had to do was contact her. If only there was some sort of communication about this, I was left feeling that it was somehow my fault that I did not know all this. Then we got the train to it's destination and we walked another very steep 40-50- meters to a gun battery. Then my favorite guide arrived again telling us to walk back down the hill another 100 or so meters to finally get on the promised air conditioned bus. The light lunch was a wrap but OK. The bus did manage to drop us near where there were two Qualls for a minute or two. The bus dropped us back somewhere in the village precinct and thankfully not quite as far away from the ferry as the train station. The bus pick up and drop off at Perth gave the impression that it would be near or even at your own hotel but not the case at all. Not as advertised and not impressed.
