Great Tour with Captain Dean - Our group of six friends took an Eco/Dolphin tour out of Shelter Cove with Captain Dean. Captain Dean was very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. He knew the entire area very well and was able to point out dolphins and many types of birds as well as sharing information on habitats and behaviors. It was the highlight of our time in Hilton Head and we highly recommend this tour.

I hope TripAdvisor reads this - The dolphin cruise was great, but I would recommend booking directly with Outside and not through TripAdvisor. My tour time with TripAdvisor was 5:15pm but when Outside received my reservation, it was for 10am the same day. Outside called me to see where I was and when I told them my time was 5:15pm, they said that tour was full and had to reschedule me. Save yourself the hassle. Captain Grant was awesome and we saw lots of dolphins (including a baby!) and various aquatic birds and landmarks. It was well worth the price for us.

Dolphin Ecotour. - What a great experience!! Beautiful Eco tour and dolphin watch. We enjoyed seeing multiple dolphins and other wildlife. Hugh shout out to Captain Dean!! He made this experience so special and memorable. His knowledge of the Ecosystem and landscape was so impressive. Highly recommend this tour for a group, family or couple.

Great way to see dolphins at Hilton Head! - Captain Dean was very knowledgeable and led a great tour. My wife and I saw dolphins, osprey, and many other unique birds. I would highly recommend this tour with Captain Dean.

Best dolphin tour and Captain ever!! - Views were awesome and we saw a lot of dolphin action right out the gate! Mittens was our favorite! We had our tour with Captain Dean Hagar and he was absolutely amazing!! He was so knowledgeable and you can see his passion. We even got to learn about some of the birds that we saw and some great history of the different areas of the island. He was very polite and had the greatest sense of humor. He made it a point to remember everyone’s names and kept including everyone in the discussion. Between the scenery and sites, dolphins, other wildlife, and Captain Dean, it was hands down the greatest tour experience! We will definitely be back and hopefully we can get Captain Dean again!! Thanks for the memories!

Dolphin Tour with Captain Dean - Great tour. Very informative and saw lots of dolphins. Captain Dean was energetic, knowledgeable, took time to learn everyone’s names and interest and ensured he pointed out things along the way. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent and knowledgeable - Bayard was great and made sure we got to see everything that we were able to. Will definitely go back and request him the next time we are back down.

Relaxing excursion - Perfect excursion for a 90 minute time frame. Took my 22 month old grandchild, and the boat was ideal for his enjoyment : safe and yet able to move about freely. Knowledge and friendly captain. Saw many dolphins and waterfowl. Over the years, we done many Outside HH activities, all excellent and well run.

Our guide and captain gave us information and local history of the area, but I was hoping for discussion of the marshes - A very pleasant boat trip. We saw several dolphins as soon as we left the harbour. The boat was comfortable enough to accommodate 16 passengers.
