Professional and knowledgeable tour guides - a must experience - Greg picked us up from our cottage on the agreed time. He shared his knowledge of not only the pass, but also of the area of Himeville and Underberg. He stopped when we wanted to take a special photo, especially of the waterfalls along the way. We were treated with home baked muffins and cookies on our way up. Border control was a breeze with his assistance. We never felt unsafe on the pass, his driving skills were excellent. He allowed us enough time at the stops to take pictures and just to enjoy the nature. His knowledge of Lesotho and their traditions and culture made the experience much more memorable. We would recommend this private tour.

The highlight of our SA holiday! - Wow! This was the highlight of our holiday in SA. We spent an absolutely amazing day visiting Sani pass and the whole experience was top rate and exceeded all expectations. The landscape is absolutely gob smackingly beautiful, our guide was excellent and the home baked muffins and biscuits on the way up were absolutely delicious. You have to order your lunch ahead of the tour (which is not included) as the pub owner won't allow you to use the facilities unless you do. The meal was simple Basuto Lamb Stew for us but other options availble. The Maluti beer is excellent. Can't recommend this experience highly enough. Thank you.

Wonderful Sani Pass Experience - This was my first trip up Sani Pass and into Lesotho. I am very glad that I did research and decided to book the Private Sani Pass Classic Tour. Angie was excellent at communicating and answered all my questions that made confirming a booking, very easy. On arrival at the collection point, our tour vehicle was prepared for us beautifully with fresh flowers, information leaflets, local water, souvenirs from Lesotho and a delicious chocolate fudge treat. Throughout our journey, Greg provided lots of interesting facts about the various areas. He made the cross-border experiences so convenient by completing all require documents, taking our passports and doing whatever was needed without us having to stand in queues. The road into Lesotho is very challenging and I will confidently state that I would not do this trip in my own 4x4. Greg’s humour kept the 4 of us very entertained and when doing the presentation on the Lesotho culture, geographical facts and blankets, he captured this audience and I found it all very interesting. The weather changed on our way down but Greg handled the road perfectly and we arrived back safely. I highly recommend this Private Sani Pass Classic Day Tour with Angie and Greg. Thank you very much for making this a special event for all of us.

Top class, fun filled bucket list experience! - A bucket list experience going up Sani Pass with friends yesterday. What an absolutely exceptional experience especially having done it as a private tour and with a local company. Greg was just AMAZING. So much knowledge and just an honest, great humoured, playful person. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with him and the day was filled with laughter. His driving abilities are incredible and we felt so safe and in capable hands. The stuff great memories are made of. Thank you Angie and Greg for running a top class business. We even got homemade chocolate fudge and muffins that were very YUMMY. It felt like every little thing was considered and thought of. THANK YOU both.

Excellent Sani Pass Trip - Nothing was exceptional in every aspect of our trip. From collecting us on time, delivering an engaging and informative commentary on all things to do with the local environment and its inhabitants, and answering our questions. His driving was excellent in very demanding terrain, and we felt totally safe at all times. I'd happily recommend this tour.

Must use for Sani pass - Hi Angie Thank you for a wonderful experience. Nathi was amazing. He is knowledgeable, courteous, funny and you feel safe in his hands. (Side note, I thought I’d drive the pass myself. My friends told me I was crazy. Having experienced it with Nathi, I would never have managed it on my own. The safety and experience of Nathi on the pass allowed me and the family to really enjoy it)

Perfect experience - An absolute amazing day with Greg. His knowledge was excellent, the vehicle was luxurious and expertly driven. We saw a part of Lesotho away from the tourism route and had a delicious traditional lunch. The home-baked muffins and cookies at our coffee stop half way up Sani Pass was perfectly timed. As the owners of South African Secrets bespoke travel company will be definitely recommending it to our guests.
