Fabulous all rounder - Had a wonderful day with Alex who created the tour specifically for us. Great knowledge of history and politics. As he is a local, he shared some great places to eat. Related well to everyone equally (adults and children) and adapted as needed.

I'd like to be there on the anniversary. - We were at Hiroshima on a busy day. I believe in the quieter times it would be a place where you would gain a greater appreciation of the power of that day. Our guide was good, and it was very clear that he is passionate about learning more about his chosen home and culture. Some of the stories told, about individuals affected by the bombing, were what made it more meaningful. The 40,000 conscripted Koreans were people I knew nothing about. The reconstruction similarly was not a story that I had previously explored.
