Enjoy the history and nature of Hiroshima! Both body and mind are refreshed! - It was a wonderful time to climb Mount Futaba and learn about the history and nature of Hiroshima that can only be heard on this tour! It is close to the station but this is a different space! You will be Guided at a point while relaxing in the forest It wasn't in the Guide book that really caught my eye. Some people didn't even know it locally, but it was really fun. In the forest bathing, it was a strange time to go to bed and become aware of the five senses over and over again as my senses opened up after feeling the soil and microbes. The climb is not too hard to climb even if you decide on the day, but there is enough distance, and the Nodate (matcha) while gazing at the whole view of Hiroshima on the summit that I climbed hard was the best finale ^ ^ This tour is definitely something that anyone visiting Hiroshima should try, and anyone living in Hiroshima Prefecture will definitely enjoy it! I'm glad I took part in it! Thank you for the best time ^ ^

You will learn a LOT from not just the tour guide - The guide, Naomi-san is a polite, kind-hearted and knowledgeable person. The hiking trip, is a short but memorable unique experience. Starting from the Hiroshima Eki, which is a convenient gathering spot as the hotel maybe just next to the station (it is in my case). So even it is a little bit early (7:30 AM), it is not a big deal. Also solo participation is absolutely okay, and I can actually enjoy a one to one private tour experience. 👍 How nice. We walked up and up through the shrine, the trees, then the Futaba-san top. You can enjoy the astonishing city view and even seeing Miyajima from there too. The Shinlinyoku (bathing in trees) is a nice experience to close your eyes to "see" through the obvious too. All in All, it is a very well organized and considerable, which may be one of the priceless characteristics of Japanese. Recommended to all.

A Profound Experience of Rejuvenation and Learning - The Asageshiki Walking Tour offers an experience far beyond a typical sightseeing excursion—it's a deeply moving and refreshing journey that immerses you in the natural and cultural richness of Hiroshima while also providing profound insights into sustainability and environmental conservation. Guides Lilly and Stefan are not just leading the tour; they are actively involved in supporting local businesses and contributing to forest restoration efforts. Through this tour, you can clearly see how passionate they are about preserving and revitalizing the area. Their dedication to forest conservation and regeneration is particularly inspiring, and it left a lasting impression on me. The way they integrate these important efforts into the tour makes it a meaningful and impactful experience. The tour itself involves a hike up the hills behind Hiroshima Station, where participants can enjoy forest bathing and a tea ceremony with a breathtaking view. It was not only physically and mentally refreshing but also offered an opportunity to delve into the history and cultural significance of the local shrines. The tea ceremony amidst the beautiful natural surroundings provided a moment of peace and escape from the stresses of daily life. As a tour guide myself, I found this experience incredibly educational. The way the tour is designed, combining forest bathing with the tea ceremony, effectively helps participants disconnect from their everyday stresses. This aspect, in particular, stood out to me as something I would love to incorporate into my own tours. The Asageshiki Walking Tour is a wonderful blend of nature, culture, and community contribution. Lilly and Stefan's leadership makes this tour much more than just a sightseeing trip; it’s a special experience that offers deep learning and rejuvenation. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hiroshima. Thanks again Lilly and Stefan, sharing great tour and experience! Pancho

I went on tour! - I live in Hiroshima, but this was my first time visiting Hiroshima Toshogu Shrine or Futabayama. Discover the charms around you and enjoy a delicious breakfast in a forest bath and quick view. It was a very satisfying tour with a lot of content. The guide was also hearty and nice! I hope to change the season again!

Healing tour that makes you feel the history and familiar charm of Hiroshima again - Mount Futaba was usually seen as a "passage" in the longitudinal run from Mount Ushida. It was too familiar for me to pass by all the time, but on this tour, I was able to spend an extraordinary time in a familiar place while living in Hiroshima, starting with the history of Hiroshima Toshogu Shrine and a walk, then fetching sacred water and climbing Mount Futaba. The sweltering heat in the city was incredibly cool in the forest, and I was able to experience a relaxing bathing in the forest, which was very soothing ✨ It is easy to access from Hiroshima Station and the summit overlooks Hiroshima, so it is recommended for sightseeing from outside the prefecture, but I think it is an attractive tour where even local Hiroshima people can feel the history of Hiroshima again. I would like to participate in a different season again!

A wonderful taste of secret Hiroshima: mountain tea, shrines and wonderful stories - We would even like to give Super Excellent as score: Nana and teamaster Lily were wonderful in guiding us and telling Hiroshima stories. They are also very friendly with great personalities, making it a joy to spend time with them while climbing the mountain, seeing shrines, using our 5 senses and experience a tea ceremony. As a group of two adults and two teens it can be a challenge to do something everyone enjoys, but we unanimously say: best morning tour ever!!

Aha! There are so many great moments! Take a quiet stroll around Toshogu Shrine in a reserved state! A unique Guide to the history and geography of Hiroshima! - The first big discovery was that there are such deep places (Toshogu Shrine and natural forests) just behind Hiroshima Station, which I always pass by on my commute! The Guide is bright and unique, and you'll soon be friends. I heard stories about everything from Tokugawa Ieyasu to the atomic bomb, but the story of Kimon, which captured the city of Hiroshima in a big way, stunned me. Especially Recommended for Bratamori lovers!
