Fantastic tour! - We had a fantastic time on this tour, with our tour guide Nana. It was great to see a different side to Hiroshima and we learnt a lot about Japanese culture. The tea ceremony and guided meditations were great too. Would highly recommend!

Even Japanese people are surprised! - It's a tour where you can hike up Mt. Futaba, which is visible right from the Shinkansen's Hiroshima Station, and enjoy matcha tea at the summit. As a Japanese person, this was my first time experiencing this tour, and it was very fulfilling. I was surprised to find such a lush, green forest so close to the city, and the view from the top was wonderful—you get a panoramic view of Hiroshima. In Hiroshima, attention usually focuses on the Peace Memorial Museum and Miyajima, but I was amazed to discover a place that can make you feel so enriched beyond those. I think anyone traveling to Hiroshima should definitely participate. Even Japanese people are surprised! I want to join again.

Hiroshima view with a cuppa - Great tout. Hiking up the hills just outside the city visiting Shrines along the way. The tea ceremony at the top was really good topped off by great views. Nana was a really pleasant and informative guide.

The Plan B Destination Tour in Hiroshima City: A Refreshing Nature Escape in the Mornings - I believe this tour serves as a perfect Plan B destination in Hiroshima City, bridging the historical and physical gaps between the Peace Memorial Park and Miyajima. We had a refreshing experience hiking up the small mountain, Futabayama, guided by the friendly locals, Lily and Stephane, as we passed through serene shrines along the trail. I was surprised to learn that the mountain is so close to Hiroshima City! I was impressed by the variety of experiences packed into the morning tour. Our tour was specially customized to be more regenerative, featuring not only an open-air tea ceremony and visits to historical shrines but also forest bathing and participation in local trail maintenance. The breathtaking panoramic view of Hiroshima City from the summit of Futabayama made the hike even more rewarding. The tour company, Asageshiki, appears to specialize in unique morning tours aimed at encouraging visitors to enjoy an overnight stay in Hiroshima. They also seem to welcome volunteers for their trail maintenance efforts.

Fantastic Experience - Please give this tour a go if you are ever in Hiroshima. Michi and Stephanie were so warm, kind and knowledgeable, and we had lots of unique experiences we wouldn't have had without attending this tour. The views are spectacular, Michi's passion and love for Hiroshima and it's nature is contagious, and the tea ceremony is a special moment. Thank you Michi and Stephanie for a wonderful morning.

Refreshing, one of a kind hike/tea experience - I had a wonderful time hiking into the forest with my tour guide! Nana was very knowledgeable of the Shrines, and she was quick to delve into the history about Hiroshima, as well as the shrines themselves. My favourite part was the Forest meditation, I highly recommend everyone take part. Don't worry about how it might seem in the beginning, fully immerse yourself into what she's asking, and you'll have a great experience. The tea ceremony at the end was well worth it. We sat at the top of the mountain, and you can overlook Hiroshima while you drink tea. Nana prepares the tea a certain way, and it's quite enjoyable to watch. I am coming again the next time I'm in Japan!
