- Cu Chi Tunnels - After being picked up, the journey begins westward from the city towards Cu Chi, approximately 60km away, taking about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, a documentary about the Vietnam War will be shown. Visitors will explore specially constructed living areas, including kitchens, bedrooms, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers, which supported the inhabitants of the Cu Chi tunnels in meeting their basic needs. The guide will share stories about the history of this area. Hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels will be unveiled, along with insights into the handmade weapons and traps used during the war. Visitors will see large bomb craters and learn how the 10-13 feet thick upper soil layer could support the weight of a 55-ton tank and withstand bomb explosions from the war. A highlight of the trip is crawling through and experiencing the underground town of the Cu Chi Tunnels, offering a firsthand experience of what life was like there.
