Depart for Cu Chi Tunnels, located just 60 kilometers from the city center. Upon arrival at the Cu Chi Tunnels gate, known as the land of steel, you will explore various aspects of the people’s war: - The weapons used by the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam during the war, including handmade guns.
- Watch a documentary about the tunnel system and the people’s war.
- Learn about the structure of the tunnel system.
- Witness various deadly traps from the Vietnam War era used by the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam (VC) and understand how they worked.

Enter the tunnels and experience life as a VC soldier.
Visit a B52 bomb crater. - Explore the Weapon Workshop and the VC Soldier combat sandals Workshop (Dép Râu).
- Experience firing real guns from the Vietnam War era (personal fee - minimum purchase of 10 bullets).
- Taste cassava roots, a staple food for the VC, and try jasmine tea.

Mekong Delta - After visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels, we will proceed to the Mekong Delta, stopping for lunch at a local restaurant along the way.
Board a boat to visit floating fishing villages along the Tien River. - Arrive at Thoi Son Islet (Lan Islet), visit the orchard, and learn about honey bee production and harvesting. You can pick fruit directly from the garden (at your own expense).
- A tram will take you to Thoi Son village, where you can taste seasonal fruits and listen to traditional Southern music.
- Row a sampan along a small canal lined with beautiful water coconuts on both banks.
- Visit a facility that produces coconut sweets and rice paper.

Return to the boat and enjoy a local coconut.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving in the late afternoon.

Perfect day trip - Perfect day trip! I had an amazing time on this tour. The guide was knowledgeable and incredibly friendly, making the experience enjoyable and educational. I loved exploring Cu Chi Tunnels and learning about the history of the war. The boat ride on Thoi Son Island was so relaxing. The coconut water was the perfect end to a fantastic day!

A fantastic experience ever - Our guide was so passionate and engaging, making every stop feel meaningful. From the historical Cu Chi Tunnels to the peaceful boat trip on Thoi Son Island. The music performance in Thoi Son added a beautiful cultural touch, and the coconut water was a great way to refresh at the end. This tour gave me a deeper understanding of Vietnamese history and traditions.

5-Star Experience! - Phenomenal experience! John Giang gave us a private full day (12h) tour, including pick up from our hotel, travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta and back. John arrived on time, was thoughtful (brought us water and hats, stopped to get us a delicious and inexpensive local banh mi for breakfast, & even gave us a happy new year lucky gift) and very knowledgeable about the history of Vietnam and both places we visited. He was friendly & answered our questions (personal, general and specific to the excursion) and at the tunnels and delta he took photos of us and sent them to us by WhatsApp. We loved learning about the Cu Chi tunnels and getting to crawl through the tunnel and fit into the tiny rectangular entrance. At the Mekong delta, we had a delicious lunch and then enjoyed a fun time feeding the fish and gators, being paddled in a boat through the Mekong water, drinking from coconuts, visiting local bee/ honey shops, tasting “snake water,” trying our hand at rice popping, and riding in a horse & buggy. We would absolutely recommend this tour and our tour guide John Giang! 5-star experience!

What a great tour - Hi Thuy, what's up bro... 😁😁. She was extremely professional, ensuring everyone felt comfortable while sharing captivating stories about Cu Chi Tunnels. Boat tour through Thoi Son was a peaceful escape from the bustling, and I especially loved the local music performance at traditional music Overall, it was an informative, fun, and cultural tour. Don't miss out on the fresh coconut water at the end - such a great touch!

A memorable experience - The tour was fantastic from start to finish. It's so 👍, our guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always eager to share interesting facts about the history and culture of Vietnam. Visiting Cu Chi was eye-opening, and the boat ride on Thoi Son was peaceful and scenic. I also enjoyed the traditional music performance. The coconut water was a refreshing treat to finish off the day. Highly recommend this tour!

This is a tour you should experience in Vietnam - At Cu Chi Tunnels, I saw many types of weapons used by Vietnamese soldiers during the Vietnam War. The tour guide was quite enthusiastic and excited when talking about old battles.

Highly recommend everyone to visit - It's unbelievable that these small holes helped the Vietnamese win the Vietnam War, very admirable for this country. The hidden traps here are scary and creative. Enthusiastic tour guide.

Experience history of Vietnam War - If you want to experience a little bit of the feeling of the Vietnam War, I highly recommend this tour. There are very small holes in the Cu Chi tunnels. In addition, the tour's food is very delicious.

EXPLORE HISTORY in Vietnam - This is an interesting trip to explore and learn more about the history of Vietnam. I admire the Vietnamese people a lot after I had a tour of the Cu chi Tunnels last month. It is really fantastic tour!

Awesome and Fun - Cu Chi Tunnel was an amazing experience for kids and adults alike. There is so much history, it’s a place where visitors must go but never without a guide or else they will miss the small and interesting trivia and stories.
Mekong Delta is a great experience as well, but coming from India, this was certainly something not new for people who have travelled India well.
Overall both experiences were good and worth doing considering there is not much to do at Ho Chi Minh after a couple of days you have spent at the city exploring the tourist hot spots.
But if the idea is to chill and enjoy the city, no time is enough.
Thank you for making our travel comfortable and pleasant. Our host Viet aka ‘T’ was fun loving and informative, never failing to entertain us and the kids whether by singing or by answering our questions, along with the usual things guides do. Cheers. much love.
