(Because food ALWAYS tastes better on a stick.) We’ll also purchase snacks from roaming vendors, which might include sliced green mango, boiled quail eggs, rice crackers, and other exotic treats. During the tour, you’ll take part in the lively Vietnamese toasting ritual of mot-hai-ba-YO! (even if you’re only drinking a soft drink). If you’re shy, we’ll only make you do it once. Typically, our tour begins in a small alley near the zoo and then moves to Snail Street for two more stops. This progressive tapas-style street food adventure usually features hotpot and a quick dessert at a local market.

An excellent evening - try the conch. - Like that other Tony, Saigon Eats Tony (Duy Anh) knows his food and loves his food, and his city. If you want good food, good conversation, and a trip around this city, I can’t recommend this enough. Five stars, would eat again!

Food, Fun and Facts. - I would highly recommend this tour. I works wonderfully as a beginning tour to aquaint yourself with the food. Our tour guides gave us good tips on what to look for and avoid as far as eating from local food stalls. So worthwhile just from this perspective.
Food was amazing and depending on your appetite maybe pace yourself in the beginning. As you might need to leave room for dessert!
I found it specifically interesting to talk to our guides and learn about their experience of living and growing up in Vietnam. Our guides, Nicki and Thomas, were especially fun and generous with sharing their experience. I was highly impressed with their warmth and information.
This was one of my Vietnamese highlights and I would add it to your itinerary.
Weaving through the back streets and meeting local people was so much fun.
And a nice refreshing and breezy relief from the Ho Chi Minh City heat.

Amazing Seafood Trail Tour! - The seafood trail tour was absolutely amazing! Tony and Niki were wonderful guides who gave us so much information about the city and its history all while introducing us to delicious foods! We felt super safe the entire time and it was an all around wonderful experience, would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City!

Best food tour in Saigon - Tony and Niki were amazing! The seafood was delicious and really felt like a local and personal experience. Could not recommend the tour more. We also felt very safe on the motorcycles and learned a lot about the city as a whole. A must do when you’re in Saigon!

Highlight of the trip so far, great value! - We were a bit nervous about going on the bikes as had never been on one before but we couldn’t have felt in safer hands and it’s definitely the best way to see the city. Tony and Nicky picked us up from our hotel in District 1 and took us to six different places. We had something to eat and drink in each location as Tony gave us the history behind each dish, so we learned so much about Vietnam and Vietnamese culture along the way. Could not recommend more highly!

Bourdain meets Victoria Hugo… on bikes - Fantastic culinary adventure with knowledgeable locals - the scooter option is recommended as the drivers are highly competent, engaging and safe. Meandering the city scape and back alleys is a memory worth investing in.

Perfect Introduction to Saigon Seafood Street Food - Tony and his crew exceeded our expectations with an introduction to Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon, seafood and street food. Riding on the backs of their motorbikes through several districts, we got a resident's view of the city -- very different to be in the herd of motorbikes than crossing a street amongst them. And the bikes allowed us to thread our way through narrower streets and alleys with sights into homes and small shops. It's great to visit a new city, look around and know that you're one of the few tourists present. We loved getting off the visitors' track and seeing, tasting, hearing and experiencing life from a Saigonese perspective.
The food could not have been better, and Tony's introduction to ingredients, cooking techniques, and how to eat a few of the dishes helped us appreciate the experience even more. We stood outside the restaurants as he pointed out the indicators of a good restaurant, explained where the owners and regulars live and work, and talked about the rhythm of life (particularly in the summer when the cooler temperatures of early morning and late evening shape everyone's lives a bit differently.
We ate conch, mussels, claims, prawns, various fish, seaweed and green beans and finished the evening with desserts of coconut milk with various beans and mung bean paste or mangos. We had more than enough, enjoyed the variety, the freshness, the different "ambience" of each of the restaurants where we stopped.

Seafood Trail Street Food Tour - Tony and Tren provided us with an absolutely fantastic street food experience during our stay in Saigon. We ate some of the best food of our lives while also learning tons about the culture and history of the city, as we zipped from spot to spot on their scooters. These guys know exactly where to go in Saigon and did not disappoint. Super fun guides that I now consider friends of mine, highly recommend!

Amazing seafood tour! - A must do in Ho Chi Minh! We got to try so many new and local foods at places that were really off the beaten track! Tony and Thomas were amazing hosts and also taught us so much about the local culture. We had some of the best food we have had whilst being in Vietnam! It was a real highlight and treat - you get so much food so don’t eat before!
