Ben Tre City is 85 kilometers (53 mi) south-west of Ho Chi Minh City and is connected to the surrounding provinces by the Rach Mieu Bridge. It is contiguous to three provinces: Tra Vinh on the West, Tien Giang on the Northeast, Vinh Long on the Northwest.
