Mekong Delta and Pagoda Vinh Trang Awesome - Very nice excursion, we visited the mekong delta and vinh trang pagoda on private VIP tour, made several stops to get to know the environment (nature, way of life etc). We especially thank our guide Hanna for her charisma and the attention she devoted to us, explaining herself very easily for our very basic English

Thank you, Anna! - This was a very efficient way to explore some of the highlights of the Mekong Delta. The boat trip was fantastic just wish it had lasted longer. The coconut candy was a delightful treat. Our guide, Anna, was fun, charming, and spoke excellent English. She was incredibly helpful and attentive, even assisting us with planning the next stage of our journey as we wanted to explore the delta further.

Authentic Mekong Delta Experience - A true glimpse into life in southern Vietnam, offering plenty to see and do throughout the day. Phu, our guide, was an exceptional host, sharing his extensive local knowledge at every step. The bike ride through the rice fields was the highlight for me—we didn’t encounter a single tourist all day!

Mekong Delta day out - Our guide Tu, and his driver, fetched us from our hotel at 7am and drove us to the Delta. It was a great experience with Tu being very interesting by providing us lots of information about the areas we visited. We got on a TukTuk and drove down small lanes with coconut groves, also went on a long boat on the Mekong which was very peaceful and relaxing. We saw traditional mat making and enjoyed a delicious lunch in beautiful jungle surroundings. A tour highly recommended.

Mekong River Adventure - A lovely private day trip for a couple wanting a more relaxing experience. We were picked up by our guide Jen right at our hotel in Zone 3. The ride was comfortable with good leg room. We stopped along the way at a rest stop which had clean washroom facilities. We toured a brick factory and Jen explained the process of making bricks and the materials used. Then we walked a short way to where they process coconut for different purposes. We walked another short distance (the walks are very easy)to board a boat (large boat with a canopy that can hold maybe a dozen people)and traveled up the wider part of the Mekong River to a family’s business of making coconut candy. Next we boarded the same kind of boat and went up river some more to a landing and we walked a short distance to a place where they weave grass mats. From there we rode a tuk tuk ( which is a canopied trailer attached to a motorcycle) we went down a narrow windy road which was densely forested to where we boarded a long tail boat ( a narrow wooden boat driven by a motor with a very long shaft) We went down river to a restaurant in the jungle where we were served a wonderful traditional Vietnamese meal of deep fried banana flower, soup and a fried elephant ear fish. From there we had an enjoyable ride back to Saigon. Total time about 9.5 hours. Was a great day, highly recommend.

Mekong delta tour with Jen - We had a fantastic experience with Jen and our driver. Jen was very knowledgeable about local customs and history. She was able to communicate with us clearly and answered our questions enthusiastically sometimes using local stories. She showed us a cocoa pod and how it ends up as a dry cocoa beans. We had an excellent time exploring the Mekong River and two of the islands. If we could, we would give her 6 stars.

Lost in translation - The experience is surely less touristy than others and fully private. The place is great and interesting but the main problem was the quality of the English of the guide. The guide seemed to be knowledgeable but we could understand maybe 20% of what he said to us, also the attitude was not the greatest and not much empathy either. Too bad.
