The palace is like a time capsule frozen in 1975. You can see two of the original tanks used in the capture of the palace parked in the grounds. Reunification Palace was the home and workplace of the French Governor of Cochin-China. It has lush gardens, secret rooms, antique furniture, and a command bunker. It’s still in use to host important occasions in Ho Chi Minh, including APEC summits.

Highly Recommend This City Tour - One of the best full-city tours I’ve taken, mostly due to our guide. Tony was a treasure trove of information about Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam. He was born and raised in Saigon, so he was absolutely familiar with our tour stops and their surrounding neighborhoods. We learned so much from him about this bustling, exciting city. Independence Hall, Cholon, and the Central Post Office were favorites. Definitely recommend this tour, especially for first time visitors.

Excellent In Depth Tour of Ho Chi Minh City - Our guide, Tony, was a Saigon native, completely fluent in English, open and responsive to any question, and knowledgeable about every aspect of life in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam. History, culture, politics, food, religion, family life, traditions, riding a motorbike - you name it, he could provide often personal insight. As a result, this tour not only visited the important sites of the city, it also provided rich, in-depth background for every tour stop and beyond. A excellent, thorough introduction to a fascinating city and country by a first-rate guide!

Tony was a cool, fun... - Tony was a cool, fun guide to HCMC--he has excellent English and lots of knowledge about the culture and history. He was also very flexible which fit with my schedule. A great day and great recommendations for later.
