Inspired to try Street Photography now - It was an awesome combination to have a professional street photographer be your local guide. Adrien pays attention to details (his professional training as a photographer) and this takes his guiding to a new level because he notices details and was able to point them out. Enjoyed and learnt a lot from him.

Fully explore the culture of the city and photograph thing and angle that you never notice. - I mainly use two B&W film cameras, 135 and 120, and a digital camera. Before the tour, Adrien will provide a short form to fill in. The questions include "What are your main interests in photography? What do you like to photograph?". They are concise but make me rethink why I want to take photography. Adrien carefully read the shooting habits, ideas and preferences I provided in advance, it makes me feel that this trip was specially arranged so that I could try to shoot images that I had rarely done before, and still maintain my photography hobbies. We visit landscapes and cultural customs that are difficult for tourists to see. Adrien shares interesting photographic angles and perspectives on capturing light and shadow, and is friendly and genuine. Adrien can be as a bridge to help us better understand a city. Nice to take the tour.

Best Street Photo tour in HCMC - What a great way to start in Ho Chi Minh City. I have been to HCMC a few times before and always found it quite daunting. Doing the tour with Adrien showed me areas I had never seen before and would never have found without him. His chats with Vietnamese locals enabled me to be calm and confident while photographing. Adrien has a fantastic eye for composition and he is more than willing to share methods and techniques. It was also great chatting about street photography / photography in general. Anyone in HCMC with an interest in street photography. This is a must.

Absolutely fantastic street photo tour of Saigon - I was on a sunrise and a sunset tour with Adrien on the same day. My personal background makes me a somewhat unusual participant of these tours. I was born and grew up right here in Saigon but left 20 years ago to settle overseas and have only been back occasionally for short visits since then. I’m also a photography enthusiast with a very good understanding of the technical aspects (but maybe not the artistic parts) of photography. I believe this background allows me to review Adrien’s tours with some authority and this is my take: his tours are absolutely fantastic and you should definitely book them. Despite growing up in the city, I wasn’t aware of the very interesting spots he took me to. I thought District 1 is all expensive, built-up, sterile, commercial and touristy but there’s a part of district 1 right next to the touristy areas that is full of dark little alleys and small vibrant street-front shops where people are living typical Vietnamese lives completely unbothered by foreigners and big commerce. The little nooks and crannies he walked me through at each location showed me that he knows these places like the back of his hand and he must have spent days on end wandering and exploring them before showing them to me. Adrien helped me see the street markets I grew up with in a new light as prime street photographic opportunities. It’s quite amazing to see how comfortable Adrien is with taking photos of strangers and how he makes strangers feel comfortable with him taking photos of them. He would often stop and talk to Vietnamese people he encounters and they would be amazed at how well he speaks Vietnamese and readily open up to him and tell him about their lives. I’m extremely impressed by how quickly Adrien spots interesting light, people, lines, shapes and colors and how quickly he combines these elements into interesting composition in photos that he took during the tour and shared with me during our post-tour feedback session. I felt like I was truly learning from a master of his craft. Another unique thing is that, totally unbeknownst to me, during our tour, Adrien was taking street photos of me taking street photos of other people and I really love these photos because. In addition to being my favorite photos of myself (who is usually behind instead of being in front of the camera), these photos are great street photos in their own right and show how Adrien truly practices the principles of photography what he preaches. Aside from the photographic aspect, Adrien is also an amazing human being and I love talking to him about life and his experience living in Vietnam for the past 10 years. He’s also very open to giving you photographic tips about other places he has been to before. In short, you won’t regret booking his tours.

A beautiful adventure to discover some of Saigon's hidden gems ! - No matter which level you have in photography, Adrien will accompany you in hidden spots to make beautiful street pictures, full of life and colors. The fact that he has been living in Saigon for quite a time now makes the experience even better, he knows many local people around the tour who will make it more real and friendly. I would recommend to follow this adventure early in the morning, when all local people are already awake and active in the markets and where there is a potential for beautiful lights. This experience has made me want to wake up early every mornings to wander in the streets, looking for beautiful picture of the street life! Thank you again Adrien :)

Magic - A wonderful day spent alongside Adrien to discover another Saigon, authentic, far from the tourists. A beautiful experience, beautiful shared emotions. A vision of your photography that I greatly appreciate, like the sharing of your passion, an approach to the population made easier by the fact that you speak Vietnamese! And thank you for your kindness! Don't hesitate to try this experience....
