Very easy to book online... - Very easy to book online prior to visiting the Financial Tower. Brilliant views of Saigon city from many different vantage points around the sky deck. Interactive maps help you to navigate around the city below. Need 45mins - 1 hour to make the most of this experience.

See the city 1st - The 'hack' of going to the cafe instead of the viewing platform was not worth it as we were a family of 4 and didn't need drinks.
It is worth doing early on in your trip to the city as it gives you a great birdseye of the city and where you may be walking.

Bitexco Financial Tower " It was our benchmark " - As per the title, this wonderful 265.5 meter tall and shimmering Tower part of the Ho Chi Minh Skyline was our reference point for orienting ourselves in the center from our Hotel, We had dinner at RuNam Bitexco at the foot of the Tower, filmed at the mall, cute mirror fountains at the entrance even more shimmering before Christmas with various decorations. Everywhere you walk you can see in all its beauty, as the tallest building in the city, built between 2007 and 2010, has 16 elevators and 68 floors , you can climb to observe the city from the best point for a price of 9 euros, to buy at the entrance to the ground floor. On the 51st floor to report the excellent Japanese Restaurant, or do not miss a panoramic cocktail, unfortunately in December the sky was gray every day despite the perfect temperature.

Totally worth it! - Voucher was easy to use to get a ticket to go up although I might feel differently had there been a big lineup. Totally worth doing as it gives you a great view of the city and river and helps you to get your bearings!

Eon Heli Bar - Instead of the Skydeck, we headed to the Eon Heli Bar at the 52nd. Floor booked in. The entrance fee includes a drink and a little finger food. Fantastic view!!

Voucher for ticket, not ticket - The view of Saigon is very nice, especially at sunset or at night.
I was a bit irritated that I was getting a Voucher for a ticket not the entrance ticket itself. Luckily, there was no line to redeem it.

Fabulous! - Wonderful and inexpensive experience. Highly recommend you go at least half hour before sunset so that you get a panoramic view of the city in daylight, at sunset and then at dark. Bottles of water available free. You are indoors at all times. Small gift shop at the top. Option to have your picture taken in front of a green screen, then, for a price, super imposed on a fabulous background of the city taken from the top the tower. We didn't understand the greenscreen pictures being taken on the mainfloor so didn't have one taken, hence, didn't have the option to purchase a picture at the top of the tower. Oh well. Did our best with our cell phones.

Sky deck? - Great views of the city but disappointed the sky deck wasn’t open and no explanation given. Kinda thought that was pretty much the whole point.

Nice view of the city center - The tower is not the tallest, but the best placed. The price is a bit excessive compared to the number of floors. This is not an indispensable visit, just to do if you have free time.
