Nice view - Go the the reception desk and you get the real ticket instead of the viator voucher. The elevator ride is very fast. At the top there is a gift shop (you can pick up the free bottle water there) and a display of vietnamese dresses. The best is to go close to sunset so you will see the city in daylight and in the dark as well. Unfortunatelly you can only take photos through the glass, no "free" sections for photos.

For Iron Man and architecture fan - First thought: Ironman/ Tony Stark headquarters- In Real Life. This destination was a short, pleasant evening walk from our downtown hotel. Our schedule would only permit a night time visit, and I was glad it did. The lights on the other skyscrapers were a visual treat, views to the other side of river, and I think crowds for office building and Skydeck are less at night. In one hour I was able to walk around the entire floor two times. I enjoyed the self- guided tour about the building itself (One of tallest in Vietnam, Top 500 tallest in world) Excellent descriptive signs about the skyline and HCMC districts. There also were a few selfie photo areas and a small Ao Dai history museum which was interesting and beautiful. The skydeck entrance was easy to find and access from street level- separate from office tower entry. A pleasant way to spend a few after dinner hours in Ho Chi Minh City.

The endless Mekong Delta - I think it's worth climbing. Seen from above, it is easy to see how the city is developing after the Mekong River. The night view is nice, but the best way to see the development of the cityscape is to climb while it is still bright. It costs about 1,500 yen, but it is cool and I think it is a good place to take a break.

Meh for the price - Nice views of the city, especially the river. There are no known landmarks or historic buildings so it is really just “a tall building in a big city”. For $10 per person we were a bit underwhelmed

AWFUL AND WASTE PF MONEY - very deceitful! - Not even 1*. Deceiving and waste of time and money. The viewing deck isn’t open to the public. You get to just walk round inside with windows looking at the buildings. Definitely wasn’t worth going!
