Don’t miss this tour!! - Best part of our entire trip. We signed up for Happy’s food tour on a whim, messaging him the same day as we had a single evening free in Saigon. Honestly an experience my sister and I will laugh about and treasure for the rest of our lives. Happy & Paul we’re extremely knowledgeable, funny, unique and hospitable, taking us by scooter to the most incredible hole in the wall delicacies across Saigon. I’m relatively picky, but Happy was great about still finding me lots of authentic options and we didn’t feel like we missed out on anything. The soup and the broken rice dish we ate were truly life changing and Paul showing off his nunchuck skills at Happy’s house — priceless. Don’t miss this tour.

Saigon Street Food Tour - Happy and Meimei are the best, most trustworthy guides!! They will give you all of the local inside scoop, and really cater the experience to your desires. This is my second tour with these guys, and again they delivered a very informative, welcoming, and delicious journey across various districts of Saigon. Great for First-Timers!! - This is DEFINITELY the food tour you want to go on for that local view of Saigon food spots that tourists like myself would never come across. Happy and his team were awesome, super friendly, and super knowledgeable on both tours we booked with them. He doesn’t take you to get the regular old pho but really loves to get you to try dishes that are not what someone who first visits Vietnam usually experiences. My son who can be shy really opened up to Happy and loved riding on the scooter with him. He clearly had a blast. Happy and his team make sure the clients are safe from any allergies so be sure to mention any allergies if any. We look forward to booking our third tour with them the next time we’re in Saigon.

DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS TOUR - This food tour is a must! Guides Happy, My My and their friends are the local experts and you can ask them absolutely anything about not only just the food, but Vietnam, the history, culture, and more. In each eating spot, guides showed us how to properly eat each dish and the background of the dish. It was raining during our tour and all the guides were prepared with ponchos and gaged when it was good to head to the next location. It was a fun experience in the rain — it added to the feel that we were blending in with the locals because eating great food doesn’t stop because of the weather! The guides were so accommodating to my family and were able to engage with the older and younger people of my group. If I get the chance, I would take this tour again.

Super Niche=Super Fun!! 🤩 - Happy and My are awesome guides and their tours are one-of-a-kind and super fun! They are great motorbike drivers and I felt safe the whole time I was with them, there are even some cute surprises for protective gear!
We talked about all things Vietnam without hesitation and by the end of the tour we were more like friends just hanging out, enjoying some great food and non-touristy locations!! Thank you soooo much Happy and My, definitely one of the highlights of my trip!!

Super Niche food tour, one of the best experiences you can get in SAIGON!! - We thankyou "Happy" and his team of mates for taking us on an amazing food tour. The food was super delicious!!!! Especially Banh Duc!! We went as a family of two adults two kids aged 10 and 8. I had been following his trips through instagram and some local influencers also used his tours as a way of exploring Saigon. Such a great way to get to know VN and the locals. Happy was always ready to answer any questions I had... even if it a day where we didn't use his service he gave us some great tips to find some famous food spots. did not disappoint, Bo La Lot is a must to eat also!! Considering the week we were there there was a long public holiday weekend so most places were closed we still managed to find some great eats!! Happy and his girlfriend and friends are well educated about their culture and history. We learnt so much from our trip. Our kids loved their Bike rides around the city the most. something that was hard to do alone ourselves with kids as we wouldn't ride ourselves.

High Recommended ! - There are food tours and then is Saigon Happy Tours. Blown away by our experience here and highly recommended, we just loved it !!!
As advertised this is a niche tour that not only covers all districts by bike discovering the best and freshest local dishes ( amazing by the way ) but also includes all the local history and interesting stories of Saigon that you won’t get on other standard tours.
Happy and Mei are locals with excellent English, so you are getting first hand local knowledge whilst you stop and eat.
A great variety of dishes and felt very safe on the back of the bikes.
We were so impressed and had the best experience that we booked the Chu Chi tunnels private tour with Happy and Mei who is a qualified historian. This was also the highlight of our Vietnam trip and highly recommended !!!
We have done lots of tours in our travels over the years but never experienced such a passionate, authentic, energetic, vibrant, knowledgeable yet humble couple like Happy and Mei .
Such amazing hosts , who take an interest in you and what you like, because they want you to have the best experience .

Best food tour in Saigon! - From the very first message I sent to Happy, I knew I had made the right decision to book a food tour with him. Everything you see about Happy online is exactly what you get. All of our food stops was well thought out and also so accommodating for my friends' food allergies and restrictions. The history we received about the food dishes and neighbourhood was the extra cherry on top. I highly recommend the food tour with Happy and his team! We will be back!

I WILL DREAM OF THIS FOOD FOREVER! ❤️ - WOW, Every single thing I put in my mouth during this tour was PHENOMENAL! Starlight was perfection incarnate as a tour guide and I will dream about the BBQ skewer sandwich that I had for the rest of my life. I literally can’t wait until I can come back to Saigon and do this again someday. I can not RECOMMEND this tour more, 100/10 worth it. An amazing way to see more of the city than a tourist normally would and through food, which in my opinion is the best way (and you too probs or you wouldn’t be looking up food tours ;) ). Have fun!
