Great afternoon out - Tour guide Mark was very knowledgeable and gave us a good commentary as we made the short trip out to Richmond. We didn’t have loads of time there, but we did a quick tour on the bus and then had about an hour to look around on our own. I did the Gaol (we got given half price vouchers) and then went down the path to photograph the famous bridge, this filled the time perfectly. From there, we made the journey to Bonorong, which was lovely. We got to hand feed the kangaroos and then there was an option to go on a guided tour. I did my own thing on this occasion, but got around to seeing everything and even had time to look pop in the gift shop, to stock up on souvenirs for young family members. This was a perfect way to spend an afternoon.

Excellent experience, an enjoyable afternoon! - The Richmond village visit was really nice, it is a peaceful village to have a walk around and have some sweets and drinks.
The Bonorong wildlfe sanctuary is great, you can experience feeding the roos and meet wombats, devils, echidnas and lots of birds.
The tour was highly enjoyable and the tour guide made our trip fantastic.

Wildlife rehab is great. - Wonderful work being done at the Wildlife Rescue Centre. Richmond is a neat little historic town. Gaol interesting but depressing the way people were treated. Rod was a great driver and guide.

Kangaroo's and Tasi Devils - Really Nice Tour - Really nice half day tour. You get to chill face to face with many kangaroo's and see tasmanian devil's. Exactly what i wanted to do. Great way to spend the rest of the day after an early morning flight to to Tasmania.

Richmond tour - Rod was a fabulous tour guide again.
We enjoyed every moment of the tour. We loved feeding the kangaroos, and seeing how all the animals that are rescued are cared for. Richmond Gaol was a great history experience.

Well worth a visit- informative, moving AND at times very funny to hear details of the animals. - Wonderful- broad range of animals; staff very well informed, committed & skilled at giving us information on each animal. It's impressed on visitors it's a wildlife sanctuary not a zoo - the rationale is simple: rehabilitate as many native animals as possible- the details of volunteers involved & their many roles was also very interesting. No government funding means it's even more impressive. Well worth a visit

would have liked to have... - would have liked to have had more time in Richmond and Bonorong, but due to late pick up of some of the guests, we were rushed, disappointing.
