- Bruny Island Premium Wines - Situated on the outskirts of the tranquil island settlement of Lunawanna on Bruny Island, this is Australia’s most southern vineyard, Bruny Island Premium Wines. In 1997, Wayaree Estate was acquired, and in 1998, Bernice’s father, John Dillon, affectionately known as the instigator, planted and nurtured 1500 vines on the site, establishing the first vineyard on Bruny Island. Today, the vineyard features 6000 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines.
