Great tour - very informative. - This tour was a very informative history lesson about the beginnings of Tasmania (Van Diemans Land). I was travelling with my two youngest grandchildren aged 7 & 9 and my nine year old grandaughter could certainly empathise with the youngest convict ever sent to the colonies, a thirteen year old girl. Our driver, David, was very accommodating, and made our time interesting. The children certainly enjoyed the tour, especially the free chocolate lol, and it was a great couple of hours away from the ship and a different, alternative experience for them.

Good tour great tour guide - The tour was very good. The guide was excellent. He spoke very clearly sharing history and local knowledge mixed with a few funny and interesting stories. I rated 4 stars as we found it difficult to find the meeting point. My fault really. Unfortunately we were sent around the waterfront walk when we left the cruise terminal and missed the meeting point. We walked to the far end of Franklin Wharf where other buses were before I called David and discovered we were at the wrong end. If you exit the cruise terminal don't walk along the waterfront to the left, go straight ahead on the road and the meeting point is right on the corner. Overall a well run tour in a comfortable bus. Thank you.
