Great sailing day on Hobart harbour - Great experience. Had all conditions from calm to 30 knot gusts. Yacht was so stable, despite leaning heavily with the strong breeze. Skipper made us all feel very safe. Scones, cheese and dips were a nice touch. Highly recommended.

Wonderful opportunity to sail on a former Sydney to Hobart Race Yacht with Mt Wellington as the backdrop. - Words really are not sufficient enough to describe what a wonderful sailing experience we enjoyed on the Derwent River with Mark & his crew Grant and son Emmet. We were treated as family from the moment we stepped up to board the yacht Helsal IV to join in the sail with other participants. Mark‘s relaxed, friendly and extremely competent manner allowed us to embrace the change in the power of the wind variants. The crew had us laughing throughout the sail with their casual banter which put a unique spin on Mark’s very knowledgeable descriptions of the history of the harbour and surrounding areas……and to cap it all off homemade scones were beautiful along with local cheeses and locally made (with love) quince jam….my husband had an exceptional time as hasn’t had the opportunity to take the helm of a yacht this size for 50 years…… Merci guys 10/10………..Helen & Eddie Rouget, Mooloolaba.

3 hour Hobart harbour sailing trip - My wife and I had a fantastic time on board Helsal. Before our trip, Mark was extremely accommodating regarding dates and booking changes. On the trip our skipper, Barry, and crew, Christina and Negala, allowed us to do as much or little as we liked including steering and hoisting sails. We had freshly baked scones soon after setting off and a cheese platter later. During the trip we saw seals and plenty of bird life. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone.
