The dual pass gives you accessibility to two principal scenic tours in Hobart – the explorer bus for kunanyi/Mt Wellington and the Red Decker City Loop Tour!
Starting at kunanyi/Mt Wellington on the Explorer Bus, we’ll climb to 1270 metres above sea level, allowing for magnificent views of Hobart and farther. The total return journey is 2 hours, encompassing 30 minutes to traverse the peak of kunanyi / Mount Wellington. If you have a pioneer’s spirit, avail of the hop-on, hop-off options at several bus stops, where you can explore a variety of bushwalking trails.
Back in town, become part of Hobart official sightseeing trail. Enjoy the impressive 360-degree city views from the upper deck of our open-top double-decker buses. You can decide to stay on the bus for the complete 90-minute navigation, or opt for hop-on, hop-off at any one of the 20 strategically located hotspots within the city.
The package includes an all-day valid kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer pass and a 48-hour Hop-On Hop-Off City Loop Ticket.

Excellent and friendly service - Even though it was raining the driver was super nice explaining everything and trying so we could see as much possible. He has pride on his job and provides excellent customer service. To ensure others were not left behind he ensured the future bus looked for passengers staying behind doing some hikes.

Great way of seeing the highlights of Hobart - Greg was our driver and guide for the Mount Wellington tour. He was entertaining, informative and really seemed to enjoy his job. It was a lovely drive to and from Mount Wellington. Great views from the top which changed all the time depending on the clouds!! Be warned, it is cold and windy at the top. Don't be fooled by the temperature in Hobart. We also enjoyed the hop on hop off tour which took us to several points of interest in and around. If you are pushed for time, these tours are a great way for seeing the highlights of Hobart.

Easy access to Hobarts main interesting locations - As a couple of seniors we found the hop on hop off bus a fantastic way to get around Hobart and get access to many of the travel hot spots. For an extra $10 for the second day it was a great deal as it allowed us to catch up on and visit locations we missed on the first day. We deliberately didn't go on a weekend and the buses were never crowded. Clean with good commentary.
I believe the service could be improved with latter busses after the last one at 3 pm. and possibly adding a third day pass and include Mona on the route for some trips
Hint. If a cruise ship is docked I think I would plan to use this service on another day

Well worth the visit - Loved this trip to Mt Wellington. Paul was out driver and delivered excellent commentary. Although it's was cold and gusty and we didn't stay and do any walks it was well worth the visit. I have yet to do the hop on hop off Hobart trip but looking forward to it

Well worth the money - Brilliant trip up to the summit of Mt Wellington. Lots of laughs thanks to the driver's humorous delivery of both local history and local culture.
Whole trip took about 2.5 hours and was worth every penny.
I'd recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see more than the centre of Hobart but doesn't want it to take a whole day

Excellent way to enjoy a short visit to Hobart - Highly recommend! Easy to access from cruise ship or port. Great driver/guide, clean/safe bus. Beautiful ride to the top of, and down from the mountain with gorgeous views at top! Then jump on the hop on/hop off directly after Explorer bus! City tour is lovely and our Explorer bus guide recommended we get off at the brewery and take a nice walkabout in town from there. So we enjoyed a great flight of beers at the brewery and then a "bush" walk in town where we spotted a wallaby! Great short visit to Hobart this way!

Excellent services - Wonderful experience. Timely and comfortable bus services. Much appreciating the narratives that Tony the bus driver shared about the geography, history, flora and fauna of the areas along the way leading to Kunanyi / Mount Wellington. I was thankful that Tony willingly offered to take photos for any passengers travelling on the bus if they so wished. He took great photos too! Amazing views at the Pinnacle at the summit of kunanyi / Mount Wellington. There are various bus departure times in a day, so I had the flexibility of staying longer at the Pinnacle, catching the next bus back to Hobart.

Nice except the weather... - The bus to Mt Wellington was early in the morning and unfortunately due to bad weather and fog there was absolutely nothing to see ..we had to stay on the bus to keep warm.
Hop-on hop off around was great and weather was nice in the afternoon.
I wish we skipped Mt Wellington drive ( 2.5 hrs) and took ferry to MONA instead.
Company was very professional.
