Good for solo traveller - I had a very good experience on my solo trip. Tony was awesome—the local food he recommended was delicious, and the stories he shared about Mt. Wellington were very insightful. I was also the only Asian on the bus, which made the experience even more unique and memorable. The weather on the mountain was perfect—it didn’t rain, and it wasn’t too cold. Tony was incredibly helpful and even took some photos for me, which I really appreciated.

Great tour and thanks to Greg - I had an amazing time at Mt Wellington! Thanks to the tour guide/bus driver Greg! He was very helpful and informative. I got off from the Chalet and walked to the Organ Pipes Track, then from Zig Zag Track to the summit. The views along the way were breathtaking!!

First time in Tasmania - Greg was an awesome tour guide! Really knowledgeable and friendly. It was too cloudy, but that's life. We did get a glimpse of the view over Hobart a few times. Still worth it and very enjoyable experience. Especially seeing the snow at the summit. We did the city tour straight after. Quite a few interesting facts and history which was cool to learn about. Thanks again Greg!

Hobart tour - It was cold, windy and wet the day we had planned to see the sights of Hobart. The Red bus was great as we got to see a lot of the things we had planned without the getting cold/wet. The driver's commentary was good and informative on the way round. The trip up Mt Wellington was highly memorable as well. The road was closed to public traffic at The Springs, so the investment was worth it in that we got to go higher than we would have if we hadn't booked the tour. Although we didn't get all the way to the top (due to the winds/weather), the driver did get us within about a kilometer of the lookout and into the snow. As with the Red bus, the driver was great. He gave information/ commentary along the way, but he also kept us informed of everything that was happening with regards to weather etc. as soon as he received updates. Recommend both tours to anybody, especially if you are new to Hobart.

Great tour!!! - Great tour. Went up Mt Wellington first up in the morning however the weather conditions was bad with thick fog therefore we couldn’t see views when at The Pinnacle. The 48-hour hop on-off was a great overview of Hobart city which was included as part of this tour. Would recommend if you are a solo traveller and do not wish to rent a car in Hobart.
