Mount Field National Park to Mona Day Tour

Mount Field National Park - Experience breathtaking landscapes and explore a part of the Tasmanian World Heritage Area. As one of Australia’s oldest and most diverse national parks, featuring some of the tallest trees in the Southern Hemisphere, Mount Field is rich in natural wonders, abundant wildlife, and ecological diversity.

The Westerway Raspberry Farm - Visit the Westerway Raspberry Farm from November to June to pick your own variety of berries or enjoy some delicious raspberry ice cream.

Salmon Ponds Heritage Hatchery and Gardens - Discover Salmon Ponds, the birthplace of Trout in Australia, also renowned for its famous pancakes. Enjoy a delightful lunch here as well.

Plenty Cider - Stop by the family-owned Plenty Cider to sample their exquisite craft ciders. Enjoy a meal, such as a grazing platter, at their cidery.

New Norfolk Distillery - From May to August, on days when Plenty Cider is closed, take the chance to enjoy a guided tasting or paddle at Tasmania’s first rum distillery, located in a former asylum in New Norfolk.

Museum of Old and New Art (Mona) - Visit one of the world’s most unique museums, MONA, and explore its quirky art exhibits, described by owner David Walsh as a subversive adult Disneyland. If the museum isn’t your preference, check out the local winery and craft brewery on the MONA site. If you prefer not to visit MONA, we offer a shuttle service from Mount Field back to Hobart, excluding MONA, within this tour.

Bruny Island Day Tour

The Neck - Capture the iconic Bruny Island image from the lookout with 360-degree views of the Tasman Sea, Tasman Peninsula, North and South Bruny Island, and Mt Wellington.

Adventure Bay - Adventure Bay beach is perfect for a refreshing morning swim or a coffee from the local store.

Mavista Falls - Immerse yourself in this temperate rainforest, breathe in the clean, crisp air, and soak in nature’s vibes. This 20-minute return walk showcases the diverse environments of this magnificent island.

Bruny Island Chocolate Company - A great stop to stock up on sweets for the day ahead.

Alonnah - Alonnah is home to the Hotel Bruny pub, where we will stop for lunch.

Cape Bruny Lighthouse Tours - Spend 30 minutes exploring the picturesque Cape Bruny, featuring the second oldest original tower in Australia. Note: There is not enough time to take a Lighthouse tour.

Bruny Island Honey - Visit The Honey Pot to sample some exquisite honey and learn about the 1000 hives on the island.

Bruny Island Cheese Company - Another chance to taste some of Bruny’s premium produce. The Bruny Island Cheese Company is an excellent spot for a tasting or to purchase cheese to enjoy later.

Day 1

Experience two of Tasmania’s top ten must-see locations on our day tour. Discover the natural beauty of Mt Field National Park with its towering eucalyptus trees, ancient rainforest, and breathtaking waterfalls. Then, immerse yourself in the quirky and interactive art scene at MONA Museum, the largest privately-owned museum in the Southern Hemisphere, showcasing ancient, modern, and contemporary art. The tour departs at 9:30 AM and returns at 5:30 PM.

Day 2

Bruny Island: Arguably Tasmania’s best day trip. This enchanting island offers a bit of everything Tasmania has to offer: world-class beaches, rugged coastline, and native wildlife, paired with the finest local produce from both the ocean and the land. This is a tour you won’t want to miss. Witness firsthand why Bruny Island is quickly becoming one of Tasmania’s most popular tourist destinations. The tour departs Hobart at 7:30 AM and returns at 5:30 PM.
