This is a perfect trip for visiting Hallstatt and driving along the Lake District. - I couldn’t recommend this tour enough. We had a great time visiting Hallstatt and learning more about the local history. Patrick was an outstanding tour guide and our driver was excellent. We certainly will be using this private tour for future visits to the area.

Family Trip - Lena and Patrick were amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable. We loved how they were able to speak from experience since they grew up in the surrounding area! While it was raining in Hallstatt, the trip was still enjoyable with a wonderful lunch by the water, exploring the town, and lovely ferry ride (declined skywalk due to low cloud coverage).

Amazing tour! - A trip to Hallstatt is necessary when visiting Salzburg and if you want the best experience book this tour!! Lena was so friendly and knowledgeable. We loved spending the day with her! We made multiple beautiful stops along the way and they booked us an amazing lunch reservation in Hallstatt. 10/10 recommend, highlight of our time in Salzburg

Exceptional tour, stunning locations, great guides. - Exceptional tour with a terrific knowledgeable and fun guide.
This was our second tour with this company. It's fair to say Patrick had a lot to live up to after being to Eagle's Nest and 'The Where Eagles Dare Castle' of Werfen the previous day.
He did not disappoint. Patrick knew all of the best spots and found locations off the normal tourist paths to help explain the culture and also find some truly stunning views.
Highly, highly recommend this company. True family business that makes you feel like part of the family for the day. Exceptional!

A Perfect & Personalized Day! - I have always wanted to go to Hallstatt so I found this private tour to pick up our family of 4 from the hotel, give us history of Salzburg, and take us to this lovely lake town. What I did not know was how outstanding and beautiful the day would be! Patrick was THE BEST tour guide - picking us up in his wonderful, roomy and clean car, showing us the back roads, with charming small villages along the way, and showing us places that only someone who grew up in the area would know. And Hallstatt was even prettier than I envisioned! We had an amazing meal where Patrick recommended and had enough time to stroll the area, see the beautiful churches and sit and look out at the gorgeous, peaceful lake and mountains. We hope to find Patrick again when we are back in the are for another perfect, personalized day!

Excellent trip and lovely guide - We had a fantastic time in Salzburg!! The trip to Hallstatt and Salzburg was extra scenic and will be cherished by us. We had taken a private tour. ManFred our guide was very knowledgeable. He went out of way to make us feel comfortable. Loved this trip!!

Tour and location were... - Tour and location were wonderful. The guide and driver were even better. Friendly, very bright and great senses of humor. They are knowledgeable, and they made us feel comfortable and welcome.

Manfred with MCM and his lake district and Hallstatt tour was amazing! - Manfred picked us up at our hotel promptly at 10 AM. Our family of four with two teenagers ages 16 and 18 had a great time getting to know Manfred. He is a wealth of knowledge and loves to travel. He took us to the tops of mountains and to several lakes and lakeside villages, and then finally to Lake Hallstatt. We explored Lake Hallstatt on our own for a little over three hours, and had a nice lunch by the lake. We stopped in another village to get some fresh spring water from the spring on the way home. I would highly recommend using MCM for your tour guide as Manfred runs a great tour guide service!

Guide was a driver, not a guide - The guide, while enthusiastic about the region, did not provide much description of the history nor details of the places visited. He brought us to some interesting sights and some personal places. In Hallstatt he left us for 2 hours with no more introduction than pointing out the church, a restaurant and the way into town. Not a guide, more of a driver. For $800 I expected more.
