Lovely Day Trip to an Area Rich in History - A lovely and relaxed day trip in a beautiful and historically rich area. Our driver/guide Sean was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating and enabled us to prioritize the areas of most interest to us. We were not able to cover all of the locations listed on the website itinerary, but this was offset by the flexibility to see the main sites in more detail.

Don't miss! - Fantastic. Sean our guide was knowledgeable and fun. There was a last minute reroute because Alnwick was closed that day. We took a scenic ride through the countryside, discussing sports, politics, history, economics and local geography. Ultimately went to Rosslyn instead where we were pleasantly surprised by more fascinating local history. All on the fly and improvised. Loved Lindesfarne castle.

Alnwick and Bamburg are must see. Our favorites in England! - Alnwick was wonderful. Probably the most beautiful staterooms I’ve ever seen and more unicorns than you can count! Bamburg had the most amazing views. Holy Island was fine but crowded. We didn’t make it to the 2 towns.
