A Journey into the Heart of the Yucatán

As I embarked on the 4 Cenotes Full Day Tour from Merida, I was filled with a sense of anticipation and nostalgia. As we journeyed to our first destination, Cenote Pool Uinic, I couldn’t help but draw parallels to my beloved train journeys. Our final stop was the Santa Barbara Cenotes & Restaurant, where we indulged in a late lunch of Yucatecan specialties. The flavors were as rich and varied as the cenotes themselves, a fitting end to a day filled with exploration and discovery. As I savored each bite, I reflected on the day’s adventures and the joy of slow travel.
