The Perfect Intimate Experience of Halong Bay - My mom and I had such an amazing time on this excursion! Our tour guide, Tuan, was very knowledgeable and a great story-teller. We were especially impressed with the boat crew who performed their tasks seamlessly that we didn’t even realize there were seven members until the end! They were also so accommodating of my mom’s dietary restrictions. All the food was prepared fresh, extremely delicious and served family style. We did so much in 2 days including visiting Sut Sot Cave, Ti Top Island and a Pearl Farm where we got to kayak. Last but not least, the VIEWS were breathtaking. Halong Bay is a must when visiting Vietnam and you really need to stay overnight to get the full experience. If you’re looking for an intimate experience, I would highly recommend this tour.

No air-con, All surcharge - It advertises for air-con but there is no air-con before 5pm, after 5pm there is barely any, the whole trip is hot and sweaty. You’d be paying a service charge if you bring alcohol onboard and if you buy drinks on board it is soooooo over priced. Be careful.

Lovely time ! - I really have a good time onboard through Ha Long Bay! The landscape worth every single euro! The room was amazing with a great view and big windows to see outside, even on the toilet. The food was delicious , fresh and good portions always. Our guide Tom was very good leading us since Hanoi to the all activities in a very cheerfull way! I loved everything about this trip and I highly recommend to everyone. Especial for solo traveller you dont need to pay extra for a double room. Its perfect !

Ha Long Bay the right way - Great overnight stay in Ha Long Bay with food & activities included! The tour guide Trung was always helpful and made sure everyone had a great time.

No Extra Charge for Single cabin - ​I chose Cozy Cruise because they don't charge a single room supplement. They already have several single cabins, so I didn't need to pay extra ! This is really great for solo travellers. ​ Don’t bring 6l water. I was thinking of bringing 6 liters of water (a huge pet bottle) because the itinerary states that one bottle in the bus and another bottle of water in the cabin will be provided., which is not enough for 2 days but I didn't bring a huge pet bottle of water on my second though, it was a good choice. Plastic bottles (pet bottles) are not allowed to be brought in. When you board, your bag might be checked. (Although no one checked, it is supposed to be checked,, so be careful) Even in the Tito island I didn’t see water being sold if I didn't miss,,,,, (Coconut juice 50,000 etc) I chose Cozy Bay Cruise because I didn't need to pay extra for a single room supplement. They already have single rooms. Wonderful ! You will have a very detailed itinerary upon booking. The cruise goes exactly with the itinerary. There is no flexibility unfortunately, you will have 45 minutes - 60 minutes at each stop on the day 1. There are so many activities on the boat too on the night of day 1. After the dinner, karaoke and squid fishing. You will experience Tai Chi in the morning but it was a small group when I did this cruise and only 1 wanted to do tai chi, so it was cancelled. The schedule on day 2 is kind of rushed. After breakfast starting at 0700, you will have 45 minutes of kayaking from 0745. Then lunch is served around 1045. Then the boat will be back around 1200 or so. As the next guests (Passengers) will be checking in right away once your cruise is done, everything has to go on based on the detailed schedule. Check-out is 0930. While you eat lunch, crews will clean up the cabins. If you join this 1N/2D tour, bring your bathing suits. Also you might want to bring a dry bag as well for kayaking. You will have a beach time, they provided us with a beach towel. Food is enough. I enjoyed every meal. Luckily there were only 7 of us when I did this cruise. It must be really busy if it is fully booked. I would recommend you to do this cruise during weekdays

Ha long 2 day 1 night - I went on a trip out to Ha Long Bay with Tam as our tour guide. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He kept our group up to date on all activities and was accommodating. I would go back again

If this isn't on your bucket list then it should be for the views alone. - The views, nice food, the caves were amazing too. Drinks are expensive on the boats - maybe stock up with your own. We did not like the wine, either the red or the white. Lots of good food though. Cookery class was spring roll making. We went for a smaller sized boat and therefore group (18) which I guess could also enhance the experience. We were with a good group.

A bit dated ship/rooms - Good organised trip. A bit dated ship/rooms. A lot of different sorts of food, but not that deliciously prepared. We expected more from the cooking class of making spring rolls, which was just talking about how to roll the ingredients. The same remark for the fishing. But the natural beauties of Halong Bay are gorgeous, worth seeing in 2 days like this trip offers.
