Ha Giang - Quan Ba - Du Gia Village (120km)
Quan Ba Heaven Gate - After enjoying breakfast, the journey begins on the 4C highway, known as the “Road of Happiness,” with a photo opportunity at “Km0.” The route leads out of the city towards the North, ascending the Quan Ba mountain pass and entering the Dong Van Geopark. Travelers will reach the Heaven’s Gate and pass the Fairy Hills. Lunch is found in or around the quaint town of Tam Son. The adventure continues deep into the Ha Giang mountains, arriving at the charming village of Du Gia. Here, guests will stay with an ethnic minority family at their homestay, sharing dinner and breakfast with them.

Quan Ba - Post-lunch, a visit to Lung Tam village is planned. This village is renowned for its long-standing tradition of brocade weaving by the Hmong people on the Dong Van plateau in Ha Giang province.
Du Gia - Du Gia is a serene, lesser-known village in Ha Giang, primarily visited by travelers completing the Ha Giang loop over four or more days. The village is celebrated for its tranquil and untouched beauty, surrounded by majestic mountains and rice paddies. The local residents are notably welcoming and friendly.
Du Gia - Meo Vac - Nho Que River - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Dong Van (150km)
Nho Que River - After expressing gratitude to the homestay family, the journey continues north, traversing some of the most breathtaking mountain passes en route to the town of Meo Vac, where lunch is served. A boat trip on the Nho Que River follows, passing through Tu San Abyss Alley and alongside the Ma Pi Leng mountains. The day concludes with a journey up the majestic Ma Pi Leng mountain pass and checking into a homestay. Guests have free time to relax or explore the Old Hmong village to learn more about local life. Dinner and overnight stay at the homestay.

Ma Pi Leng Pass - The Ma Pi Leng pass is Vietnam’s most impressive mountain pass, standing at an altitude of 1,500 meters. It connects Dong Van and Meo Vac, two cities in the far north of Vietnam’s Ha Giang province, near the Chinese border. This road, known as “The Happiness Road,” was constructed in the 1960s by many workers, primarily ethnic minorities from the region, taking 11 years to complete. It is famed as the King of Vietnamese mountain passes, featuring cliffs, abysses, and numerous hairpin bends. The road offers a romantic, breathtaking landscape perfect for motorcycling, resembling a scene from a fairy tale.
Dong Van - After dinner, a walk to Dong Van Ancient town is planned, where guests can enjoy traditional music and cultural exchanges with local Hmong people.
Dong Van - Lung Cu - Sa Phin - Yen Minh (120km)
Lung Cu Flag Tower - The Lung Cu flag tower stands 33 meters high, with a 54 square meter flag, marking the northernmost point of Vietnam in Ha Giang province.
Yen Minh - Yen Minh is a small town in northern Vietnam, often included in the trails followed by tourists exploring the northeast of the country.
Yen Minh - Lung Khuy Cave - Ha Giang (100km)
Lung Khuy Cave - After breakfast, guests can enjoy village life, take a walk around the village, and possibly visit the local waterfall. The exploration of Lung Khuy cave follows. Lunch is taken in Tam Son, after which a stunningly beautiful side-loop is explored, connecting back to the Road of Happiness and returning to the base in Ha Giang city. From there, guests will board a bus back to Hanoi, concluding the tour.
