A premium day in Ha Long Bay - From start to finish it was an excellent and relaxing day. The communication regarding pickup was spot on, the ride to the boat was comfortable and once on the boat the experiences, food, atmosphere, surrounding, and activities did not disappoint. While it is a bit of a long day due to the drive to/from, it is still relaxing and well worth it. Everything about this day felt premium, especially when looking at some of the other boat options at the harbor. Highly recommend, definitely an enjoyable experience that is worth it.

Great Customer Service - It's when things do not go right that you can really judge customer service. We were
booked for a 1 day tour but due to an operational problem Amazing Sails had to cancel our trip. Instead of just saying OK sorry they made alternate plans for us to go with a different cruise company. And for the inconvenience they had a private car pick us up at our hotel. Wish we had sailed with them but Wonder Sails was really good too. You shouldn't hesitate to book Amazing Sails knowing they're so reputable and do things the right way. Bravo

Fantastic boat trip, thanks QA! - We ordered this trip through our hotel who were able to negotiate on price. Other trips we saw involved 4hrs driving each way from Hanoi on the old road. This trip used the new toll road which shaved 4hrs off driving and meant an extra 4hrs on the boat.
There were only 6 of us on the trip which meant it was much cosier and better service.
The trip included food on the boat which was great and some fruit sculpting which was fun.
QA the guide was very informative and friendly. He took us to a fishing village and cave. He offered us to input on where we wanted the boat to go to get the most of our day.
All in all, I would recommend this trip over cheaper alternatives. It was worth the little bit extra money!!!

Highlight of our holiday - wholeheartedly recommend - In our holiday with many highlights, our day cruise with Amazing Sails in Ha Long Bay stands out. The cruise takes you round a good proportion of Ha Long and to caves and floating villages not visited by many other tours so fewer tour boats to contend with. We saw a glittering stalactite cave, an easy kayak round the floating village. The rest of the day we lay on sun chairs on the deck amazed by the waterscape. Lunch was included and good selection of drinks. Our guide Nien was informative, helpful and a great sense of humour. We were picked up and delivered to our hotel hassle free. Highly recommend.

Private boat with group of 4 - Great luxury day trip with a small group to Halong bay with guide Bruce Lee. Worth the extra charge to do as a private tour.

Halong Bay in a day from Hanoi - The tour is a convenient and comfortable way to get a glimpse into the beauty of Halong Bay. Transit time is around 3 hours each way including picking up/dropping off other guests and a short pit stop, so it was nice that the limo van was modern and comfortable.
A multi-course meal served onboard was fresh, authentic, tasty and plated with restaurant-level care.
There were two stops of moderate interest. The first was a small cave with a short, well defined path and a small section accessible only to smaller guests able to climb and contort through a small opening. The second was a floating village which included the option to kayak or be paddled around on a boat in groups of 6.
The tour guide went by his initials “QA” and was upbeat and funny, and his honest opinions on a variety of topics was refreshing and made him feel more personable.
