Highly recommendable day trip - I had a surprisingly great time at this tour to Halong Bay. Knowing that it's very touristic, I expected a busy trip with many ships on the sea and little time to enjoy the scenery. Thanks to our guide Thanh that was not the case. We were only 6 people and got along very well. In the comfortable mini van, Thành gave as a lot of valuable insights into the region. After that we went on the boat which also transported other groups. The boat tour was still very enjoyable: nice food, friendly service staff, interesting stops at the islands and a fun kayak activity. We also got to enjoy the beauty of Halong Bay without seeing too many boats. I can recommend this trip to everyone looking for a day trip to Halong Bay l!
