Great tour with Lyna in Hanoi - We spent a lovely day with our guide Lyna. She was very warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Great to have a driver but traffic is quite slow. After seeing some amazing historical sites and train street we all went to her favourite bun cha restaurant and shared the most amazing meal. It was a truly authentic local experience which we will cherish. Thanks Lyna!

Greatest Day in Hanoi - Our tour guide Nhat was amazing, His knowledge was excellent and what a history lesson we got as we visited so many amazing city and historic sites. Highly recommend this tour if you have limited time in Hanoi. Absolutely the best and we feel like we saw so much.

Biking through Hanoi - We had a wonderful time with our guide Brian. He guided us on bikes through the busy roads which gave us a good idea of the street life. Once we had the hang of the flow of mopeds and vehicles it was quite easy to navigate. We saw bridges, temples, and farmland as well as many sites in the city. We loved the amazing Bun Cha lunch and had fun having coffee on Train street. Highly recommend this as a way to experience Hanoi.

Train Street - Great experience and atmosphere. Be sure to know the train time table as they are not that frequent. Find a seat order a drink and enjoy the ambiance. As always there will be someone out to exploit the situation. We had two offers of alternative cafes at a different location. They told us there was no train until 5.00pm but the timetable said 15.20.

Ok tour, would not book again. - Ok tour of Hanoi. Go to see both Ho Chi Minh and train street so that was a success. Didn’t really connect with the guide. Picked us up in the smallest little Toyota possible not a van. Getting in and out of it was a chore all tour long. Overall nothing really to get excited about. Actually requested to finish the tour early and just go back to hotel.

Disappointing - While the tour hit ‘most’ of the top tourist spots in Hanoi, the engagement with our tour guide was disappointing. Her lack of conversational English and fluency meant that there was little engagement, confusion in getting across information and a lack of general local knowledge. Having paid for a private tour the overall experience was not value for money.

Incredibly rushed and not enjoyable - Unfortunately we did not have the best experience on this tour. We felt incredibly rushed from the moment we started the tour. Our guide was Nhat and I don't remember the drivers name. We ended up parting ways from the tour midpoint and just doing our own thing. Here's some notes from the tour: - Our flight was delayed coming into Hanoi, causing us to push back our tour start time. I appreciated their flexibility. We pushed it back by 30 minutes which turned into 45 minutes due to commute. When I got a call from Nhat, I could sense irritation that we were taking too long to get to the hotel lobby but we gave them all the info on our commute, so it didn't start on the right foot. - On every stop, I understand that the streets are busy with cars, but it felt like Nhat was yelling at us to hurry up and jump in the car or get out. We couldn't even get our bearings and was rushed - When we stopped at train street, there was a situation with the police and tourists, but we were confused with what was going on. It would've been nice to have Nhat fully explain the situation versus pushing us through the chaos. - When we got to the mausoleum, Nhat yelled at me to put my DJI camera back in the car but to hurry up. I almost lost it on him; again, I was unsure what was going on and there was no explanation, just yelling at us to hurry up - When visiting the mausoleum, do not have your shoulders exposed. I unfortunately had a tank top on but rather than telling me not to wear that, Nhat let me enter the area, to which an officer WITH A RIFLE approached and started yelling at us. Nhat was very nonchalant and not helpful in explaining but after a second of piecing together, I put on my hoodie. - When we got to the museum of literature, we wanted to walk around and take photos but Nhat wouldn't let us. He instead spent the time talking to us about information, which I appreciated, but then quickly pushed us from site to site, so we didn't get a chance to venture on our own. I don't think we would recommend this tour to to anyone in the future. I noticed others who have reviewed, had different experiences so maybe it was just the day/guide.
