- Old House - The tour guide will meet guests at hotels or locations within Hanoi’s Old Quarter to begin an exploration of the area. If hotel pickup is not required, guests can meet the tour guide at the Cultural Exchange Center, located at 50 Dao Duy Tu Street. The first stop is the house at No.87 Ma May Street, one of 14 ancient houses in Hanoi from the late 19th century that still maintains its original features. It is a popular spot for those interested in the historical daily life of Hanoians. Built in the late 19th century, the house was home to five different families from 1954 to 1999. It showcases the typical tubular architecture of old Hanoi houses, which are narrow but deep.
- Bach Ma Temple - Situated in the heart of the Old Quarter, the small Bach Ma Temple, meaning ‘White Horse Temple,’ is considered the oldest temple in the city. Although much of the current structure dates back to the 18th century, a shrine to Confucius was added in 1839. Originally constructed by Emperor Ly Thai To in the 11th century, it honors a white horse that led him to this site, where he decided to build his city walls. Bach Ma Temple was one of the four district gate temples of the ancient Thang Long citadel. Visitors enter through ancient wooden doors to see the beautifully decorated interior, a red-lacquered funeral palanquin, a statue of the white horse, a shrine to Confucius, and a Phoenix Altar for seasonal offerings.
- Hang Gai Street (Street of Hemp) - This is one of the most exciting activities in Hanoi, combining a walking tour with a street food tasting tour. Finding excellent local foods in hidden alleys or on sidewalks can be challenging, but the tour guide will assist in selecting the best options. This provides an opportunity to learn about Vietnamese cuisine, culture, and lifestyle, as well as gain insight into the ingredients and historical backgrounds of popular northern dishes. Hanoi street food goes beyond hot dog carts and pretzel stands, offering a chance to try various dishes at local food stands and family restaurants. The menu rotates daily to showcase a variety of delicious options, which may include rice noodle soup with beef, rice noodles with chicken, rice noodles with grilled pork, snail or dry noodles, sticky rice, and various types of donuts, steamed pancakes, or Vietnamese sandwiches.

Amazing experience of Hanoi food street - This tour was totally worth it! Our tour guide, Chris did a great job to take us through the local experiences of Hanoi, and feeding us with some of the best street food that we've ever had. Would definitely recommend this tour if you have ~3-4 hrs to spare in the evening.

My family and I enjoyed the most with the trip - This tour was beyond our expectations! Our tour guide was excellent. He was friendly and helpful. Not only were our dishes wonderful but the guide was so nice. We went though many small alleys in the Old Quarter and saw strange things. Mixed fruits, eggs coffees were so nice. Despite the rain, our group stil loved the trip so much . Awesome!
