You will visit Hoan Kiem Lake, a must-see destination in Hanoi. Our tour guide will explain the origins of the name “Hoan Kiem” and why the city is called “Hanoi.” We will also provide information about activities around Hoan Kiem Lake, such as the Night Market and Walking Street.
Old Quarter - Discover the Old Quarter with its 36 streets, sample the local culinary delights, and observe how residents live in this historic area. Experience the vibrant atmosphere of Beer Street. You will have the opportunity to try various foods (flexible based on your preferences, including vegetarian and kosher options): Bami (Vietnamese bread), Pho (noodle soup), Banh cuon (steamed rice pancake), Bun cha, dried beef salad, dumplings, sticky rice, spring rolls (fresh/fried), mixed fruits, sticky rice with ice cream, and the famous egg coffee. We will also teach you how to cross the road in Vietnam and some basic phrases to communicate with locals. By the end of the tour, you’ll feel like a true Vietnamese. This tour is also suitable for vegans and vegetarians: we’ll dine at local shops where tofu may not be available, but dishes will include onion, bean sprouts, and vegetables. While it may not be as diverse as a specialized vegan restaurant, the food will still be delicious.
