Highlights
  • Old Quarter - The first stage of our Hanoi By Night Jeep Food Tour and Train Street immerses us in the lively atmosphere of a local flea market. This engaging experience includes intimate visits to local apartments, where participants can enjoy snacks amidst the bustling environment. This segment not only offers insights into the local lifestyle but also introduces a variety of authentic street food flavors, providing a genuine taste of Hanoi.
  • Train street coffee - In the second phase of our journey, we visit one of Hanoi’s famous family-run restaurants to savor Bun Cha (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles). After this culinary treat, we continue through the crowded streets to Train Street—a vibrant alley where locals cook, relax, and trade beside active train tracks. This offers a unique glimpse into the nightly activities of Hanoi’s residents.
  • Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - As night falls, the tour makes a significant stop at the Mausoleum, giving participants a unique opportunity to witness the solemn evening ceremonies. This experience not only enlightens but also instills a sense of respect, offering a look into the cultural importance of this historical site. In the third stage of our tour, we visit a B52 bomber that has rested in Hanoi’s Huu Tiep Lake for nearly half a century, located in the Ngoc Ha flower village. We then navigate through streets illuminated by vibrant lanterns and decorative lights in both the Old Quarter and the French Quarter. Riding along the banks of West Lake and Truc Bach Lake, we take in the enchanting nighttime views of Hanoi.
  • Truc Bach lake - In the fourth stage of the tour, we embark on a culinary adventure, offering participants a dinner experience in the area. This gastronomic interlude allows them to savor the exquisite flavors of pho rolls in Ngu Xa village, fully immersing in the local food scene. Following this delicious exploration, we enjoy a tasting session of mango pudding dessert, adding a sweet note to the night’s culinary journey.
  • Long Bien Bridge - The final part of our tour takes place at the iconic Long Bien Bridge. Here, participants delve into the rich history of the bridge. With the night sky as a backdrop, they can enjoy stunning views and capture memorable photos. On the way back to your hotel, we stop at a renowned café to savor the famous Vietnamese egg coffee and an exclusive dessert, a secret shared only with our travelers! Alternatively, we can enjoy a delectable Mango and Caramel Pudding at a local favorite spot.

Jeep Foodie Tour - Perry was a great guide! He taught us history about Vietnam as we drove around and taught us some Vietnamese phrases. We ate delicious food which he taught us how to properly enjoy, which we wouldn't have discovered without him. Highly recommend this food tour for first time visitors to Hanoi.

Ask for Chris and Bao if you're looking to do this tour. They were just great - Chris and Bao took us on the Vespa Countryside tour for the half day with the best tour guides ever. Chris was very informative on the areas that we toured. Plus they were a pleasure to talk to about non tour subjects. We really learned a lot about the Vietnamese culture . Going into the home of the owner of the bonsai trees was great seeing how people live in this area. We were so happy that we took this tour it really was a highlight of the last few days.

A fabulous trip down the countryside that’s unlike any other trip - We had a Fabulous countryside trip with Mr. Chis and Moi. They were super warm and friendly. Chis was an excellent guide and a narrator. His English was so good and we were super comfortable with them from the word go. We first had our lunch in a vegetarian place, an excellent choice picked by them. Follow by this we went to long hein bridge, and then moved to rice field of hoi pu village. Riding down the lanes of this village was such a great journey and we met the locals and spoke to them as well. The rice fields were vast. Chis being an excellent photographer himself took some wonderful pics of us. Post this we moved to the ancient temple. The architecture of this temple is so unique and rich in culture. Post this we went to another locals house. Mr.Canh and his wife. Mr. Canh is such an extraordinary person, a war veteran who fought the Vietnam war and takes pride in the beautiful bonsai trees that he has grown along with a 60 year old bicycle that he owns. He narrated the stories of the village and Vietnam war and about the trees he has grown with immense passion. We had a great time looking at his trees and plants collection. Post this we went to an old heritage cafe and had egg coffee before ending the trip. Overall my wife and I had excellent trip with chis and moi who were more of friends during our trip and we dint want the trip to end. 0
