Highlights
  • Asia Vespa Tours - Hanoi Jeep Tours - At 8:00 AM, your tour guide will pick you up and provide a safety briefing before we embark on our ride. Our first stop will be the Long Bien Bridge, which is the oldest bridge in Hanoi and was constructed over 100 years ago during the French colonial era. From here, we will be able to admire the scenic view of the Red River, observe the passing boats beneath us, and catch a glimpse of the lush vegetable farms on the island.
  • Dong Ahn - Next, we will travel through the countryside alongside the Red River, where we can soak in the breathtaking natural scenery of Vietnam and observe farmers tending to their crops. Along the way, we will visit a local family who specializes in crafting bonsai trees. This visit will provide us with an opportunity to learn about this intricate art form and admire some of the family’s most stunning plant creations. Our guide will serve as a translator, facilitating conversation between us and the family, allowing us to gain a deeper understanding of their daily life and traditions.
  • Co Loa Citadel - Afterward, we will continue our motorbike journey to a nearby wet market where we can sample a variety of delicious tropical fruits. Later, we will make a pit stop at Lotus Lake, where we can quench our thirst with refreshing sugarcane juice or other locally-sourced beverages.

We will then continue our cycling adventure, traversing through dirt roads and rural villages until we reach Co Loa Ancient Citadel. This historic site, built in 200 BC, is a symbol of Vietnam’s longstanding tradition of establishing and protecting the country from foreign invaders, such as Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong. Our visit here will allow us to gain insight into this rich historical legacy.

  • Truc Bach lake - Following our visit to Co Loa Ancient Citadel, we will venture to a nearby fruit garden. Later, we will head to a local restaurant for lunch where we can indulge in Hanoi’s delicious cuisine.
  • Huu Tiep Lake and the Downed B-52 - During the afternoon, we will make our way to Huu Tiep Lake, located within the Ngoc Ha Flower Village. Here, we will find a tranquil island that is nestled in the heart of Hanoi, far away from the bustling city streets. This location is known for the remains of an American B-52 plane that was shot down during the Christmas bombing in 1972. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to observe local farmers as they cultivate various fruits and vegetables in the surrounding area.
  • Ba Dinh Square - During our tour, we will also have the opportunity to pass by some of the major highlights of the city. These include the Hanoi Flag Tower, which is nearly 200 years old and is renowned as one of the city’s most prominent symbols. We will also ride past the Hanoi Opera House, the 1000-year-old royal Thang Long Citadel, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Ba Dinh Square, and Tran Quoc Temple.
  • Train Street - Our journey will then take us to the Reunification Train Track, which has been in operation for over a hundred years and runs through the heart of Hanoi. The local residents live in close proximity to the tracks, with only centimeters separating their homes from the passing trains. This experience provides a unique opportunity to fully immerse oneself in the local culture and gain a deeper understanding of the vibrant and bustling city of Hanoi.
  • Old Quarter - Before concluding our tour and returning to your hotel around 4:00 PM, we will make a stop to indulge in a unique local beverage known as Egg Coffee. This delicious and distinct coffee is a must-try for any coffee lover and is the perfect way to cap off our exciting day of exploration and cultural immersion.
  • Long Bien Bridge - Meet locals and explore a traditional 200-year-old house and privately owned Bonsai gardens belonging to war veteran then chat about their daily life over a cup of tea

A Glimpse of Hanoi on the motorbike - I joined the full day hanoi tour with motorbike by an English speaking guide. Her name is Lily. I must say she has great motorbike riding skill by having a big size passenger like me. We went to the countryside of Hanoi, visited villages, oldest house in the Lay Da village. Went to the paddy fields. Lily is informative and telling me stories, history of each place we visited. We returned to the city for lunch. The lunch is various types of pho, noodles. Very delicious. Then we moved on to see the pagoda, B52 victory museum, opera house. Oh, not forgetting the Banana Island, the banana plantation. Last, we stopover for local desserts, mango pudding and durian che that were yummy too. Once again I must compliment Lily on her riding skill on the road, she knows her way around and taking care of her passenger safety that is the most important. Thanks Lily & colleague for showing me Hanoi countryside and the city.

Best experience I've had overseas - Honestly one of the best experiences I've had overseas on holiday. My tour guide was Audrey and the amount of local historical and cultural knowledge she had was incredible. No questions were off limits. She was very thorough and made me feel very comfortable. The tour was quite personal and sharing the lunch meal and being able to go into a local family's house to see what day to day life is like in the countryside was amazing. Could not recommend highly enough.

Fun unique tour - The tour was a blast! Almost everything we did were spots not included on a typical Hanoi city tour, so we got to see a lot of interesting things we wouldn't have seen otherwise. The included lunch was delicious and they were able to accommodate a vegetarian. Our guides were great! They answered all of our questions and were fantastic drivers. We never felt unsafe riding with them. Also, they provided rain ponchos when needed which was highly appreciated. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful day tour! - Wonderful and educational tour that took us to the countryside. It was especially nice to see the broom factory but most of all being invited into a family home to chat with the owners and see his bonsai collection. I could have done this your several times, that’s how good it is. Thank you ladies for your wonderful hospitality and kindness. 😃❤️
