Foot Tour Review 😊 - The private food tour was an absolutely amazing experience, Alex picked us up from our hotel and told us we would be eating until we were completely full and he was 100% right, he took us to 5-6 different spots and then 2 different dessert spots and catered to our gluten free needs, but the highlight was how friendly and nice Alex was! This didn’t feel like we were customers or that he was a host, it just felt like a friend taking you out and showing you great food spots.
Could not recommend this tour or Alex any higher, he was an awesome guide and an even better person.
Myself and my wife spent 3 weeks travelling through Vietnam and the food tour was one of the highlights.
Alex was awesome!

Great food tour that is also gluten free. - A really enjoyable food tour around Hanoi. Alex the guide was superb. He is very knowledgeable, caters to your likes and dislikes. The gluten free options were excellent. Highly recommended and the surprise at the end is worth waiting for.

Great food tour. Gluten free a big plus. - Alex was a great host and managed our itinerary really well. Out of our party, two were gluten free and Alex worked the tour to ensure the best food for us all. The food was really good.

One of my favorite experiences in Vietnam! - This tour was amazing- I wish I could do in every city I visit! Alex personalized the experience according to how adventurous we were feeling, and was able to accommodate my partner's need for gluten free options. The food was all delicious and we ate at restaurants we never would have found on our own. Alex was super knowledgeable and great company. What a cool way to learn about Hanoi and experience Vietnamese culture! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves food and wants to see the city through the eyes of a local. Do it when you arrive - it was so much easier to navigate the food scene afterwards, and Alex has many recommendations.

Great food and great company - Bâch AKA Alex is an amazing tour guide. He collected us on time at our hotel to begin our bespoke walking tour of the Old Town. My wife Tracey is gluten intolerant, Alex ensured the food we ate agreed with her dietary requirements. We all ate the same food and it was magnificent. Additionally, Alex is extremely knowledgeable and was able to provide us with information and tips to assist with our stay in Hanoi. If you are looking for a great experience in Hanoi then Alex at Nom Nom Travel is for you.

Ask for Alex! - Alex was our host and we cannot recommend him highly enough. In the time we spent with Alex we gained a great appreciation for the best local cuisine plus a snapshot into cultural do’s and don’ts throughout our stay. 11 out of 10 experience!

Funniest trip ever - Fantastic trip. Perfectly adapted to our family and our needs. We love crazy things and Alex immediately caught our wishes and composed a unique trip for us. We got to taste really exciting things in the best company. High spirits and great level of knowledge. We all loved Alex and the amazing trip he took us on.

Perfect tour for those looking for a more unique, local experience! - One of our favourite experiences in Hanoi— we had very little time in our travel schedule in the region, but didn’t want to miss out on experiencing the northern culture and food. Alex was absolutely amazing with catering the tour to our specific needs/tastes, and gave us a great introduction to the best local spots outside of the primary tourist zones. We found ourselves trying dishes we hadn’t heard of before (despite researching food blogs in advance of our trip!), and dishes we wouldn’t normally have been inclined to try without having someone suggest them. Every dish was delicious and we can honestly say we’ve never been fuller than we were at the end of the tour! Alex was even gracious enough to share a few suggestions for the following day that we could try before leaving the city. He was a great conversationalist, and through him we felt we got a glimpse of day-to-day life in Hanoi. Hands down would recommend this to anyone on a tight itinerary or just wants to step off the beaten path and experience something new.

Private family food tour - We had a great time with our tour guide Alex. He actually brought his fiancé (Alice) with him which was really nice as Alice also spent time sharing her culture and experiences of being brought up in Hanoi. Food was great and they were very engaging with our 13yr old and 1yr old. Would highly recommend Alex as a tour guide.

brilliant street food tour with amazing hosts! - We had a lovely tour with Alex and his partner. It was our second day in Hanoi and we learned so much from our time with them about local history and culture and they brought us to some amazing local food spots, and hidden gems! We loved our time with them and would highly recommended this experience if you wish to spend time with some lovely people and get to grips with the wonder of Hanoi street food! Thanks again guys : )
