  • Old City Gate - Near the lively Dong Xuan Market in Hang Buom Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, the Quan Chuong gate was originally constructed in 1749 during the reign of King Le Hien Tong (1717 - 1786) to safeguard the Thang Long Imperial Citadel.
Despite the passage of time, the gate retains its ancient and majestic charm, a source of pride for the locals. It is a popular attraction in Hanoi, especially on weekends and holidays.
Daily life buzzes under the gate as vehicles and pedestrians traverse its stone-paved floor, creating a blend of Hanoi’s past and present that captivates many visitors.
  • Old Quarter - Our fantastic street food walking tour begins at 78a Tran Nhat Duat Street at Kim Tours’ Building in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Around the market’s perimeter, numerous street vendors offer a wide array of produce, from live seafood to exotic fruits and spices. Your knowledgeable English-speaking local guide will provide insights into the complexities and traditions of Vietnamese food culture, including details on ingredients and the history of popular northern dishes. We will sample various street food dishes and enjoy a tasty French-inspired snack from a street cart and local street food restaurants within Hanoi’s Old Quarter.
Hanoi Old Quarter, known as the “36 streets,” is the oldest part of the city, located next to Hoan Kiem Lake. This area features centuries-old streets with colonial architecture dating back to the 15th century. In fact, there are more than 36 streets documented within this area.
  • Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street - Hoan Kiem Lake, also called Sword Lake (Lake of the Returned Sword), spans 12 hectares with a north-south length of 700m and an east-west width of 200m. It is encircled by streets in Hanoi’s Old Quarters, including Le Thai To Street and Dinh Tien Hoang Street to the east, and Hang Khay Street to the south.
  • Hang Bac Street - We will try one of Hanoi’s most delicious desserts on Hang Bac Street and conclude the tour here.
