Great street photography walk - Had a fun time following Thanh to corners of the city I would never have found on my own. Got some great advice on how to use my camera and how to frame shots that I’m still benefiting from. Time flew by!

Amazing PhotoWalk in Hanoi’s local markets! - Thanh’s photo walk with us was a journey into parts of Hanoi that I would have never been able to find on my own. Not only did he take us to some incredible places, he also shared his insights into shooting and framing which were quite helpful when framing photos against a chaotic backdrop. Thanh is a great photographer himself and it was a wonderful experience shooting with him. Later, I booked a very unconventional beer tour with him in Hanoi as well. Feels like I have made a friend for life. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended experience in Hanoi! - Thanh was a great storyteller. You wouldn't feel like it was a photo walk. He would slide in a few stories here and there and allow us (me and my husband) time to take things in. He would also respect our pace and that's what we really appreciated about him. He also bought us an early morning coffee during a cold weather in Hanoi, so the touch is appreciated. Thank you, Thanh!

Perfect Partner for Street Photography - Hanoi is definitely a heaven for street photographers. it's so grungy and rusty, making it perfect for amazing street photos. Thanh is very friendly. He brought me to places where I wouldn't have discovered by myself. Also, it makes more sense when he shares the story behind every spot that we stopped to take pictures. highly recommend if you are a street photographer.

Must do in Hanoi! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 - From beginning until the end it was all new for me and my wife. Thanh is pretty mellow and knows the art of street photography. Explanation on how to enhance your street photography skills was short yet full of information that you cannot obtain online. 5 stars for Thanh on those tips! Never knew but now we’re more aware. He took us to places where all local action tends to happen. Not touristy areas but places where we we’re able to witness and see the daily chores and lives of Vietnamese people. We thank Thanh for giving us that opportunity that no other local guide would. Reminder, this is a photo walk tour not a walk and talk sightseeing tourist experience. Sure, settings are universal but being able to adapt to the environment and to be more engage in telling a story thru a photograph is indeed challenging and requires a lot of confidence, patience, timing and most of all, practice. That’s what Thanh taught us. It’s not always about the proper gear or the expensive gadgets. The camera is only an extension of your eye. The camera does not take the photograph but the person who handles the camera does. Thanh knows this really well. Please don’t hesitate to book a photo walk tour with Thanh. The price you pay and the amount of knowledge and intelligence you’re going to gain is all worth it. As for us? Wherever and whenever we take photographs, we will always be reminded by Thanh’s wisdom and knowledge because we will be carrying this onwards to forever. We thank you John and Jois
