Fabulous Street food trip - Lucky was a super guide who gave us a lot of information about Vietnam and also about the different foods. Made it very pleasurable and walked us around to all the different places. Vegetarian was no problem at all and Lucky made sure we enjoyed some amazing Vietnamese cuisine.

Awesome - Honestly the best tour I’ve been on this whole trip!! We had the pleasure of having both Lucky and Ming to take us around Hanoi to experience the vegan street food. All of the food we had was traditional Vietnamese style made vegan and is something that would not come up if you searched it on google or HappyCow. There was so much more vegan food on the street than we thought. Lucky had really good knowledge of the history of Hanoi whilst also being interested in getting to know you as the customer and Ming provided good vibes and laughs. Both guides were friendly, easy going and mindful of allergies/dietary preferences. If you are visiting Hanoi, I would highly recommend the Vegan street food tour by Ha Food tours, it truly is great value for money and making special memories.

Vietnamese food, with a side of culture! - Jenny was great. In addition to Vietnamese food, we learned more about Vietnamese culture and language. She would sit down at the table with us and answer our questions about her experience growing up in the Hanoi suburbs. And the food was ngon vâi (delicious)!

Food fun with Lucky - Lucky was a fantastic guide! He was able to accommodate 3 vegans and 2 carnivores with a variety of delicious food (also encouraged me to try the egg coffee and it’s amazing)! Lucky is super knowledgeable about Vietnam and its culture and history as well as current events. It was so fun talking to him for around 4 hour- felt like I learned a ton and laughed a bunch! I would totally do another tour with him if I make it to Hanoi. And do yourself a favor and try everything that he puts in front of you…TASTY!

Amazing food - Jenny was a great guide and showed us a lot of local places we otherwise wouldn’t have found. The food was amazing! On top we learned a lot about vietnamese culture and talked about difference in way of living and beauty standards with her. Also she‘s fluent in English.

Excellent vegan food tour - My friend and I had an amazing time touring the French and Old Quarters with Lucky. We stopped at 7 places for a variety of vegan Vietnamese cuisine. Lucky was super communicative & accommodating (as were the places he took us) and didn’t even bat an eyelash at our request for a vegan tour.
Every dish was delicious and we felt so fortunate to be able to visit more of the mom & pop shops vs the primarily vegan places we’d been frequenting (we would have been afraid to try some of the smaller spots that feature mainly meat on the menu on our own due to the language barrier & fear of accidentally consuming meat or fish sauce).
Lucky was very personable, funny and is an excellent guide. He told us stories about life in Hanoi and was kind enough to share Vietnamese history and culture with us. It was a huge privilege to spend the time with him & benefit from his knowledge. Thank you so much, lucky. This was truly the highlight of our trip & we would happily take another tour with you in the future

Good food tour, suitable for vegans - Our guide, Lucky, was super cool and showed ours the food of the city. He didn’t only take us to restaurants, but also explained a bit of the history of the city, showed us hidden places and explained the food culture. They offer tours for vegan, which is super helpful if you’re vegan or vegetarian visiting the country

Vegan Food Tour with Lucky - Lucky’s vegan food tour was a perfect mix of delicious food and cultural insight. From vegan pho to creative twists on classic dishes, every bite was a treat.
